Kid'S Haven Academy INC

I visited this school unannounced to share info in about various public services for children. Some schools don’t want to be bothered, however, one administrator there, Mickeli, greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately started displaying the material in the school’s lobby. She then invited me to their upcoming-open house. While attending that activity, I witnessed the professionalism of staff such as Karma as they interacted with the parents and children. I was impressed by the family-style atmosphere, parental staff interaction and how well l was treated as a guest, it felt like home. Also, I overheard staff remind parents of the importance of having the children at school on time and getting proper rest at home in order to function well at school; a parent even shared with me that since her special-needs daughter’s attendance at the school, she has made vast improvements in her speaking, listening, understanding and other critical life-enhancing skills!! As a parent of three, l know quality childcare and education when l see it and the importance of us parents trusting those who care for and educate our kids, this is what Kids’ Haven offers. Thank you Kids’ Haven for caring for, loving and educating our community’s future leaders, you are appreciated.

My son was here for 2 years. They are great and was patient with my son who has ADHD. my son misses them & always says he wants to go back. Ms. Shae was great with him and kudos to Ms. Karma and Ms. Barbara who are awesome too. Update (04/08/22): my son went back to Kid’s Haven academy for their summer program of 2021 & he loved it. He was very happy to be back. They are flexible & patient. We will definitely be back again this summer if they have spots available this year.

By far the worse school ever, teachers are nice but the administration is rude as ever , does not respect young mothers, my kids were always sick going to this school & always came home with cuts & marks , didn’t want to give back my kids belongings when we left. I do not recommend matter fact this school needs to be shut down like one of the parents already started this is just a business to them not a kids haven . Wish I could do -5 stars

went in to do a tour of the school; I was greeted with a look and tone of "what do you want and why are you here". The woman who did the tour did not give a very friendly and welcoming demeanor. When given the tour there were no updates or postings for any of the bulletins, everyone seemed to be just sitting around in each class we went in, in the lunch area, there was a child that had snot running down here nose and was coughing openly. no one made any attempt to clean her face or separate her from the other children. The playground area looked deserted and the area for the children my child's age was no longer in use. upon the ending of the tour, when asked for a packet for pricing, the lady informed me that she had no more available; she said that the lady at the front desk usually has them-she however was not there. in stead of her printing me out one, she looked at her roster and quoted me from someone's chart. I told her I'd come back at a later time instead...I will definitely not be returning there at all.

My experience with this school was horrible. It’s advised to not send your children here. Take them to a better school who actually takes accountability and is respectful to the parents. This is only a business not a haven for children. I’m blessed my child goes to a better school..
