Kids Country Wadsworth

This is a long one. I’m a little late leaving this review because I truly thought I had already done it. What reminded me was a comment my daughter made in the car today about how she never wanted to go back to this school again. That made me realize how strongly her experience still affects her, even two years later. I went back and forth between giving two or three stars, but ultimately chose two based on my child’s overall experience. There are definitely positives worth mentioning. The facility itself is wonderful—clean, well organized, and full of great resources. The meal plan, school pets, outdoor playground, and overall environment were all impressive. For those aspects alone, I would easily give five stars. Unfortunately, our experience with the classroom environment was very different. My daughter was four when she attended and was enrolled for about three months. She absolutely loved Mr. Matthew, who was kind and patient with her, but after he left, and we shortly after followed. The other teacher she had was not welcoming or supportive. One moment that still stands out to my daughter was when she called the teacher “Miss Teacher,” and instead of gently correcting her, the teacher told her that wasn’t her name and had the entire class repeat the correction. That’s embarrassing at any age, and the fact that my now six-year-old still remembers it clearly says a lot. She also recalls a time when she needed help putting her shoes back on after playing in the sand. The teacher refused to help until my daughter became visibly upset. At four years old, children are still learning independence, and it didn’t feel like that teacher knew how to guide or support them in a positive way. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to watch my happy, bubbly child slowly lose her excitement about school while she was there. I wanted so badly to love this place because it has so much potential, but the classroom experience didn’t match the quality of the facility. I truly hope changes have been made since then and that future children have a more positive experience than we did.

This is a great place to send your kids. We have 2 daughters and they both attend. The teachers really care about the kids and we feel great about sending them here! My toddler has flourished with language and social skills. My infant has had some struggles and the teachers have been great in trying new techniques to get her to also thrive. The daycare also uses an app where we receive updates from the teachers on what the kids did that day, what and how much they ate, and pictures of activities. I strongly recommend Kids Country to anyone who is looking for a daycare.

We could not be more thrilled to be part of the Kids Country family. Kids Country makes it easy to trust that your child will be taken care of throughout the day. The app they utilize is fantastic for quick updates on your child's day as well. The teachers are top notch. Extremely compassionate, caring, and eager to teach the children new and exciting things. We have been very pleased and thankful for our children to be cared for by the Kids Country staff. If looking for a daycare facility, I highly recommend Kids Country.

My son started at a different Kids Country facility and when we were moving it was critical that we be able to get him into another Kids Country. Now both of my boys attend Kids Country Wadsworth and I would not send them anywhere else! The teachers are fantastic, and love and care for my boys as their own. Communication is open and transparent, and the center has all kinds of extra things going on throughout the year to keep families involved. All age groups follow developmentally appropriate curriculums and every day it seems like my boys learn something new! A truly fantastic and trustworthy place to send your kids.

Absolutely love Kids Country Wadsworth. I knew instantly that this was the place that I wanted to send my kids. It felt like a home away from home from the moment we did a tour almost 5 years ago. Each teacher that my kids have had has been absolutely wonderful. Everyone is always so responsive and caring. My kids (4 1/2 and 18 months) love going to school. They get to do such fun activities each day. The events that are held are always great. I couldn’t imagine my kids going anywhere else.
