UPDATE: We’ve always lived a bit of a drive across the city from Kids Corner, so after 18 months, moved our son to another daycare closer to our home. It was a DISASTER, and we put our son BACK in Kids Corner. It’s totally worth the commute and from what I can see, some of the best care you can find in the city. There is very low teacher turnover, and my son being able to give hugs to the infant room teachers who cared for him as a baby because they’re still there, is very special and uncommon these days. The teachers are warm and loving. The facility is stimulating, safe and clean and the administrative staff are helpful and kind. I’m so glad I found such a nice place, it really gives me peace of mind to know my baby is being so well cared for. I don’t have the ability to teach him a second language, so it’s really exciting to see him pick up words and sounds in Spanish.
My son has been enrolled at Kids Corner since he was six months old, as soon as it reopened after the pandemic spring-summer 2020 shutdown. I cannot recommend it highly enough - the teachers are warm and caring and the administration has done everything to address the many challenges of providing for kids during the pandemic. My son loves going in every morning and learns a lot, and it's a wonderful place for infants and toddlers.
Both my daughters attend Kids Corner and the experience has been wonderful. The teachers and staff are compassionate, safety and health always is the first priority, and the education and lesson plans are thorough. My daughter at three years old can write her difficult first name. We're lucky to attend this school.
I sent both my children to Kids Corner starting when they were 7 months. It’s been the most warm, loving and supportive environment for my kids and from what I see, the other children at the daycare. While the bilingual aspect is a huge plus, what was most important is that my children were very obviously loved and cared for (and of course, safe) throughout their years at Kids Corner. I highly recommend this for all parents/young children.
Kids Corner DCC is wonderful! Our son attended Kids' Corner for a full year, from age 1 to 2. The only reason he no longer attends is because we moved to North Carolina, but to be honest, we almost called off the move so he could stay at K.C. Everyone, from top to bottom, is invested in the children to attend Kids' Corner. Our son learned so much, in English and in Spanish, and really blossomed under the tutelage of his teachers in the infant and toddler classrooms. Kids' Corner is caring, communicative, and nurturing. I can't recommend KC DCC enough and would highly encourage anyone with children ages 6 mo-4 years to apply. Our son loved his teachers and was so happy to go to school every day, I can't speak highly enough of this child care center.
