Kids Corner Day Care Center INC

Called yesterday and was educated there was one opening. Upon visiting today because my daughter wasn’t potty trained and I simply stated my opinion the assistant director looks at my daughter and says “I know you can talk” we start at 2 around here, my baby is 2.5. I respected her opinion, but the feeling wasn’t mutual. Because they didn’t take cards... I went to the bank to get the application fee.. in 30 minutes someone with 3 kids filled 1 spot I was told after coming back. Now this is a blessing because I’m not wanting my daughter misspoken to because I won’t scold her about potty training. This is my experience. Please ensure you are careful when it comes to your little ones. They have feelings and for an assistant director to feel comfortable speaking to a child she does not know with such demeanor about something she does not control is scary to say the least.

I have had nothing but a great experience with them, I sent my toddler there from the ages of 2-4 and she loved it, learned a lot & bonded with the staff like family. They accommodated to my custody arrangement with having her there 2 weeks on/off where most places wouldn’t. And Will definitely be sending my youngest, they are kind, professional, and great with children of all ages. Absolutely recommend 10/10!

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. My son came home with a red swollen ear looked like a grown adult had grabbed him by his ear. This happened on the Thursday before Veteran's Day by the time I realized the daycare was already closed so I had to wait until Monday to ask about it. I showed Mrs. Keyla the pictures of my son's ear from Thursday because now his ear was black & bruised. She acted very concerned & asked the workers in my sons room what happened, no one could tell me! After about an hour & a half of him being there on Monday they called to inform me I needed to come get him because he had a rash coming up on his belly along where his diaper lays. So I took time off work to take him to the doctor & they said its possible it is hand, foot, & mouth disease but he could go back to daycare because he did not have a fever & was NOT contagious. The daycare refused to let my son come back until the rash was gone even though we had a doctor's note to come back. They also refused to refund my tuition for the week despite the fact my son was there a total of maybe 3 hours. Seems to me they do not care about the kids & they are all about the money. Do not take your kids there!

The owner is very rude and she will Rip you off if you take your child out of daycare. She is a crook. I took my daughter out of the daycare because of the lack of staff. They had the toddlers in the room with the babies and one of the toddlers left a scratch on my babies forehead. They did not fully explain what happened. There is also a foul odor as soon as you walk in the place. Smells like a nursing home or a hospital and the staff is not professional....at all! My daughter also got about 3 colds in a span of a month in a half and she has not been sick since I took her out. When I removed my child, I had one week balance due. I then receive a letter saying that I owe $511.......which is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOU CHILD TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids have always loved going to Kids Corner. They are happy and hug their teachers when we leave. We've been there over a decade from oldest to my youngest. Most of these reviews sound like upset employees. I feel bad they hard time, but I have to go with personal experience and we love Kids Corner. They have always worked with us through changes. The part that makes me happiest is that my kids are so happy.
