I am so lucky to have found this daycare!! My son has recently presented with behavior issues and all of the teachers to the director to the owner are all very caring, compassionate and understanding. They want to work together as a team to come up with the best plan for my son! My son loves coming to school everyday and has learned so much-not just intellectually but emotionally. All children need love and attention and patience and this school has definitely shown that. I would recommend this daycare to anyone; especially to parents of "difficult" children.

My son has been going to KAP for 4 years now and they have been such a blessing! He loves it! He's always more excited to be there than at school—and he loves his school too. He is a special needs child (autism) and they have always been very loving and patient with him. They understand his triggers and what might be setting him off if he has a bad day. Once he had a seizure while there and they were very quick to alert first responders and me—the director even rode with him to the hospital so he wouldn't freak out if he woke up with strangers. They do lots of fun activities that engage the kids. The playground area in the back is nice and big and my son loves playing in it—also has nice big trees for shade. There's a second building so older kids can have their space. The staff is absolutely wonderful—they're like mother figures to my son, who's mother lives far away. He's always excited to see them. They put smiles on his face and I believe he does the same for them with his high energy, passion, and warm energy. They always fill me in on any details about my son—if he's his normal self or if they think something is off about his day. They pick up on behaviors and come up with solutions that I wouldn't have noticed or thought of. They genuinely care about him and they've been instrumental in his development over the years. When he first started going he only spoke a handful of words and was a bit reclusive, but within the first year his vocab and social skills exponentially grew. He's a social butterfly now and mostly normal and aside from his occasional tic, you wouldn't suspect he has autism. KAP and their long-term staff have played a significant role in helping him. And whenever they do hire new staff, they quickly bond with my son. I've considered moving to different areas in town, which might also mean a different school/daycare for my son might be necessary, but it never was doable because there's only one KAP for my son. He loves it too much—they're like family. And I'm happy that he's secure and rooted here. I can't recommend them enough! So glad I had a co-worker who brought her daughter here and recommended them to me. And they're very affordable on top of that. Thank you!

HUGE problem with mrs. christy who like to grab children by their jacket hoodies to stop them from running. Then proceeded to tell me my son was lying to me and 4 other adults. Worst daycare teacher ever and they didn’t do anything about it but take her off for a day. A teacher that can hurt one child will definitely hurt more and if you want people to spend all this money for their kid being on vacation then a teacher like that should be fired out of your facility. I will never recommend this daycare to anyone as long as that horrible teacher is there because next time something more serious is going to happen to a child.

They withdrew my son bc he has had appt and SICK throwing up and everything.. and proceeded to say “ he’s never here” I told them about his mri and autisim test. They didn’t like him numerous occasions I’d walk in to them yelling at him, treating him like dirt, and such!!they had him ON A FILTHY cot over 5$ that they didn’t tell me I owed! SMH awful daycare and the health board has been notified!
