Seems like the daycare was a pretty nice place until they started adding older children. The staffing ratio was off and a child was injured as a result. The professionalism in the way Ms. Brandy handled the situation of the injured baby is lacking. When in a child is hurt in your care you want to quickly assess the situation and reassure the parent it will Never happen again. She seems more concerned about reassuring parents who don’t have an injured child. Why email other parents about the situation instead of emailing the on duty staff about how the child got scratched? That is SHADY!! How about emailing the mom what happened to her child and issue an apology that it happened on a watch that nobody was checking for? Wouldn’t any parent notice a “rash” when they dress their child in the morning? How would anyone feel to pick up their baby with a bloody back/shirt and get “I don’t know what happened” as a response? Mom only wanted to know what happened to her baby. Instead of making the parent feel like the situation would be handled and investigated, they suggested that the baby scratched his own back bloody. In any case, why wouldn’t they have called mom ahead of time to say the baby had a rash and is scratching himself to the point of drawing blood? Wouldn’t a baby cry if he’s scratching and is bleeding?Things that make you ponder. She may be affordable but sometimes you pay for what you get.

My daughter attended for a few weeks and hated it. She was kicked by an older kid when no one was looking—which is often. She described it as a ‘nightmare’. Also want to echo the previous reviewer that pointed out the shady progression of 1) bad review appears for Kidds Place then 2) immediate 5 star reviews from reviewers that have no other reviews on anything. Do better.

A woman I know sent her son to this daycare and came home with severe scratches on his back to the point it was bleeding through his shirt and the owner of kids place claims she “ doesn’t know “ what happened and that it is not her problem because the child’s teacher “already apologized”. My mother is also a therapist who came into this establishment many times discovering many issues such as teachers sleeping while children were left to their own devices, children she was specifically seeing would scream and cry as if they were scared when brought back to class, although the same children had no issue going back to class once their daycare was switched. She has also witnessed children being fed dry cereal and a glass of water at all times of the day and a real meal was only served when an inspector was due to come. Please do not send your children to this daycare, I wish I was able to post pictures of the conversation between the daycare owner and the mom of the little boy as well as the pictures of his scratches. To be an owner of a daycare and claim you “ don’t know” what happened when asked why a child is injured is ridiculous, they need to be held accountable for the negligence/ possible abuse going on in this facility.

Do not send your kids here!! Brandy Pope is very rude and inconsiderate, and knows nothing about customer service. My son went here for three weeks and was injured without an incident report and no one could tell me what happened. I wasn’t looking for anything except an explanation and couldn’t get that. He is happy at his new center.

My children have been going to Kidds Place for almost 3 years now. They are always kind to my children and any concerns that have ever had were addressed immediately. My children enjoy going and they go above and beyond to do whatever they can to help!
