Kiddie University H Street

Our son has attended this facility for nearly 3 years. Since day one we have been blown away by the care our son received and the relationships he built with staff. All the staff members care deeply for our son and the feeling is mutual. The center has a great curriculum for learning and many of the teachers are bilingual, so our son knows a fair bit of Spanish at age 3. The staff is very responsive and we know our son is in great hands every day when he is dropped off.

We could not be more pleased with our experience at Kiddie U on H Street. We dropped our daughter off at 4 months old and she attended every day, 8-5:30pm, for a year. We were so sad to leave the incredible staff and all the wonderful kids and parents when we relocated out of state this past month. The administrators and teachers went above and beyond - from day 1 - to make my wife and I comfortable leaving our baby. The greatest piece of all was how genuinely happy our daughter was to go to “school” (as she affectionately called it) every day. She stood by the door every morning yelling “shoes!” until we put them on her and walked her to daycare, where she would sprint into her classroom as soon as her feet touched the ground. She was always greeted with warmth and treated like she was their own child. She developed beautifully, and we even learned a lot about how to parent from the ladies at Kiddie U. Above all, Kiddie U provided peace of mind. We never worried for a minute, knowing our daughter was in kind and capable hands. We hope our new school in NJ can meet the bar set by Kiddie U. Originally we had a preference to be located at the F street location, but when we joined there were no spots available, so we ended up at H street. This ended up being a blessing in disguise, and we could not have been happier (though I’m sure the folks at F street are just as great!). If you are worried at all about the H st location, don’t be. There’s nothing to worry about, and the facility and staff are fantastic, as are the others kids and parents who attend. Thank you Kiddie U for a great year! Jan 2024 - Jan 2025

We sent our son to Kiddie University H street from 1.5 to 3 yrs old, and our second kiddo started at 6 months. I fully recommend Kiddie U to new parents because the staff is amazing--kind, responsive and truly invested in the development of our kids. Our daughter is thriving, and our son loves to pick her up and get loved on by all his former teachers. The location on H street is convenient, and the center does a great job of safely getting the older kids outdoors nearly every day for nature walks and trips to the playground. It's such a relief for our family to have such stable, compassionate childcare.

Our daughter has been at the H Street location for about 6 months and we couldn’t be happier! She started at 6 months old and gets so excited when we drop her off. The teachers have been extremely caring and come up with lots of creative activities for the kids. Also love the use of the Brightwheel app so I can stay up to date on her feedings, naps, etc. I believe my daughter is genuinely loved and well-cared for here.
