What Parents Say
Kiddie Kampus receives mostly positive reviews praising staff care and kindergarten preparation, though one parent reported serious concerns about staff behavior, lack of structure, and limited educational activities. Most parents highlight strong teacher-child relationships and long-term satisfaction, while the dissenting review criticizes aggressive staff, minimal academics, and poor value compared to competitors.
I can't say enough about how great Kiddie Kampus was for my boys. We moved to the area almost 4 years ago and were rushed to find care for our then 1 & 2 year olds. I remember we were a little hesitant with KKLC because the entrance was not secure (they did add keypad entry soon after!), but it was the first daycare that seemed like a perfect fit for the boys. We figured we could always find a new place if necessary.... 4 years later and the thought never crossed our mind. Ms. Janice is amazing with the kids, and all the teachers my boys have had over the years have been fantastic. They've done a great job making sure my kids were prepared for Kindergarten. My oldest excelled in Kindergarten this year (even with remote learning), and I'm 100% sure my other son is ready to start this fall. Things have been different this past year because of Covid, but they've taken all precautions to keep the kids safe. I would absolutely recommend Kiddie Kampus to anyone looking for child care and Pre-K learning!!!
Ms. Janice and the entire staff are amazing souls. They give their best effort to provide the best care. I am thankful they were recommended through a friend because I could not imagine my son going elsewhere. This place runs circles around Kindercare because they actually care. Also, the body of students is diverse which is good for kids at the grassroots.
Kiddie Kampus is a great daycare. The teachers and the administrator are awseome and very knowledgeable. Kiddie Kampus workers are very friendly. My three kids have been attending the daycare since 2014.
The best thing going is it's clean. Ms. Karen & Ms. Kelly are aggressive and the kind of daycare providers parents fear. Ms. Karen smacked my daughter's hair bows out of her hand causing them to fall on the floor and pushed her to lay down because she played at naptime 🤤. Ms. Kelly constantly yells aggressively and My child was afraid of her. The director Ms. Janice is nice but doesn't reprimand her staff, seemingly out of fear of losing them. When I met with her about these incidences, she had very little to say. There isn't much learning, the kids spend most of the day leisurely playing & coloring. No one regularly reads to them. My daughter was excited to take a Dr. Seuss book to school, Ms. Nakita told her she wasn't gonna read it bc Dr. Seuss week was last week 🤔. She could only name one book that was read after being there for 6 mths. Ms. Nakitha confirmed that she doesn't have time to read (she's also the driver), and apparently no one else did. Although Ms. Nakitha is very nice, this was disheartening since she's studying early education. A librarian visits and reads on sparse occasions. There's no structure. U drop your kids off upstairs where they play all morning while the providers sit and watch them. They spend so much time on the floor playing that my kid's pants had wholes in most of them, jeans included. We went to Kindercare in Brookhaven for 2 years prior but transferred to save $. They taught the kids, provided structure, and were nice & patient as expected when working with kids. This is an example of getting what u pay for. Save your money and worries, look elsewhere!
Great group of people who are caring and supportive
