We had a great experience with their infant program. The teachers took great care of our baby and the cameras gave us a peace of mind as new parents. Their meal offerings were actually pretty impressive once our LO could eat. The staff were friendly and hardworking and the new owner was very involved in helping their staff around the office. We sadly left for a closer daycare but we would be happy to return if things don't work out.
Prior to finding Kiddie Academy my son and I went through trial and error with two other childcare facilities and it was a nightmare! Not only was my child traumatized but so was I. I had such a lack of trust for someone else to care for my child I didn’t want to leave him with anyone. When I toured Kiddie Academy I was greeted by Ms.Sandra. Because of our past experiences my kid barely wanted to walk down the hallway, he was so afraid. Ms. Sandra was very gentle and loving, she hugged him, was able to calm my son, grabbed his hand and walked us to the playground. She allowed him to run freely and play until he was comfortable enough to go inside and meet the others. Our tour lasted 4 hours, my kid was so comfortable, he participated in free play, snack time and just enjoyed his time that I could barely get him to leave, I felt so relieved! His first day of school he ran around the classroom full of joy with the biggest smile on his face. I felt so confident and trusted Ms. Sandra and the other staff to care for my child that I had no worries leaving him on his first day while I headed to work. He didn’t even acknowledge me as I left! I am so grateful for Ms. Sandra, Ms. Kia and Ms. Jaysa. My son is happy, safe, learning and growing so much everyday. There is definitely a HUGE difference from his first day of school a little over a year ago! We love it here, all in all the staff is always welcoming and in great spirits, the curriculum is great for starters and the environment is safe. These are truly people who care about your kid💛
Kiddie Academy of Henderson made such a positive impact on my family. They go above and beyond to ensure all our needs are met and made us feel like a part of a big family. I am sad that we no longer attend there very often due to my son entering kindergarten, but feel lucky that he is welcomed with open arms during holiday weeks/days. The staff is always there when you need them and Brittany is an incredible director. Thank you KA!
Ms Saddie, Ms Lily, Ms Adrienne, and Ms Chelsea have been incredible to Nora since she enrolled into the Tiger room two months ago. She's transitioned from being nervous about going to school, to now happy and excited every morning. She's thriving. Every teacher that has assisted in her classroom who we sadly have not had the chance to get their names yet, are caring and nice to Nora. Every staff we run into at drop off and pick up are always nice and friendly. We love everything about Kiddie Academy and are very happy about our choice to send Nora there. Thank you all so much!
Two stars for the front office staff being kind. Kiddie Academy of Henderson should not advertise that they can accommodate the intellectual and physical needs of a child older than 5. I felt extremely misled by the facility when I went on the tour to have somewhere fun for my 7 year old son to spend spring break while school was out. I was told there would be activities and things to keep my son engaged. That was so far from the reality. I regretted the decision immediately day one when I looked on the cameras and could see the lack of activities. My son was so bored walking around the room, looking out the door, then finally sitting down in a chair watching kids play with blocks. He was the oldest kid in the class placed in a room with children as young as 5 and sadly I can see why there were not any kids there his age. The center doesn't have the space for older children as advertised. I unfortunately had no other options to pull him out due to working and going to school, so he was forced to sit around and play with toys designed for small children and figure out how to find some kind of fun in that room. I felt horrible seeing him on camera look so bored. At the end of the week, I emailed the center asking for a refund of $235, which was the registration fee for the YEAR as stated in the agreement and offered to let them keep the $145 that was paid for my son to attend for the week. I understand what the paperwork said about refunds, but I felt like this should be a consideration due to my dissatisfaction with the services rendered. I was met with a cold email from the owner, Ricardo, who up until this day still could not properly address me in an email. He allowed a refund of $100, which is a slap in the face. Honestly, I should have stuck with Children's Learning Adventure. The facility is far more equipped to handle school aged children, with an age appropriate playground, basketball court, activities and overall operation. (They were at capacity for Spring break which is why my son wasn't enrolled there.) I enrolled my son into Children's Learning adventure where he can thrive this Summer the day I sent my email to the owner of Kiddie Academy. That being said, if you have school aged children older than 5, DON'T send your child here. Shame on Kiddie Academy for advertising incorrectly and Ricardo, try practicing better professionalism when you speak with parents, after all, parents are the ones lining money in your pocket. Without the tuition being paid and having enrolled children, your business would not be standing.
