My daughter started attending Kiddie Academy six months ago. This is my first child that I'm sending to daycare and I found myself very apprehensive. The staff at Kiddie Academy has been patient and kind with both me, my husband and our daughter as we went through this transition. We have found our daughter enjoys the stimulation and experiences. Additionally, I genuinely believe the staff cares deeply for our daughter, as they are always smiling at her and encouraging her independence.

Words cannot describe my gratitude for our experience with Praveen, Ashley and the whole staff at KA. I have had two children there over 4 years (including after school program from Specht and summer camps) and have seen significant improvement in both my childrens’ social, moral and educational development. We’ve had probably 12 different teachers over the years and each one has effectively communicated via the app, sending pics and overview of the days curriculum. The school does a great job celebrating appreciation days, events and special guest visitors (firefighters, dentists, Bluey, etc). They put on an awesome Christmas program too. I’ve seen some negative comments about Praveen. While he may have a shorter communication style, I know that him, his wife Sairah and Dr.Goshi are a great Christian family who run KA as a family business and poured their heart into their staff development and family relations. Their daughter was in my sons class. As for Ashley, sure sometimes she may not respond for a day but give the woman a break! She is the director of a school with 100+ littles and their parents, the staff AND she is a mom of two herself. As for “too long of nap time” comments, the teachers need a break too! You try corraling 20 preschoolers all day. Myself and other mom friends have only great things to say about our experience with kiddie academy and their devotion to developing our children. Worth every penny.

I can’t praise Kiddie Academy of Canyon Springs enough! Teachers and Administrators prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our kids as well as communicate professionally and promptly. They go above and beyond for all holidays, special occasions and events so that we have amazing memories to look back on. Prior to Canyon Springs, our kids went to a different Kiddie Academy and I can confidently share that Canyon Springs should be the standard for all Kiddie Academies. We are so incredibly grateful for them!

We appreciated the caretakers and most of the admin staff at this location, and would have left our children enrolled here if it weren’t for the behavior of the managing director. I’ll preface by saying that the inciting incident was, indeed, our mistake. Albeit a mistake that we had made previously due to the fact that we were unaware or had forgotten about the rule. We had a grandparent on the list for authorized individuals to pick up our children. She had picked them up previously, and had used our code to enter the facility. Apparently, we were supposed to set up a separate code for her. Completely our oversight. The incident occurred when the managing director noticed that the grandparent didn’t have her own code. She had left her ID at home (we live about a mile away from the facility), and she had to return to get her ID so she could pick up the children. Absolutely not a big deal. We appreciate that the front desk enforces such standards. Upon returning, my wife had come with the grandparent to assist in the pickup. At this time the managing director confronted my wife about allowing the grandparent to use her code. She was apologetic for the mistake, and stated she understood and that the situation would be remedied moving forward. However, the directing manager continued, to an uncomfortable degree, to scold and belittle her about the incident. He also made her physically uncomfortable as he stepped into her personal space while scolding her…which was the point that he officially crossed the line. Reminder: the grandparent is an AUTHORIZED individual on the children’s documentation. The code was not given to some random friend or acquaintance. While we completely understand the need to follow protocol, there’s no need to dress down someone over such a thing in such an unprofessional manner. Let’s also recognize that this grandparent had picked up the children multiple times without this ever coming up. She’d show her ID to the front desk staff, they’d verify, and everything would move on amicably. So perhaps the special code protocol isn’t followed as closely as his behavior would have one believe. The managing director then sent us a PowerPoint which had the specific rule he was referencing. Conveniently, I have no such PowerPoint or reference to said rule anywhere in the documentation completed when we enrolled the children. That being said, we wouldn’t have had any problem complying. It was the highly unprofessional and inappropriate behavior of the managing director that prompted us to remove our children from the facility.

We have had our daughter at Kiddie Acedemy for over a year now and it is one of the best decisions we have made. Everything from the care provided, to the impressive curriculum have fostered growth in our child. I would recommend any parent consider Kiddie Academy of Canyon Golf for their child.
