Kid-N-Play Daycare And Learning Center

I am a involved parent in my daughter life, VERY INVOLVED! I have joint managing conservatorship with my child’s mother, meaning in my custody order the mother and I both have access to any and all records pertaining to OUR child. I was made aware by my child’s mother that she had enrolled our child into this daycare without my consent as stated in our court paperwork. She has to have my consent to remove her or change her school or daycare. I brought my proper documentation, meaning court ordered paper work, valid ID and also a letter I had typed and sent to the daycare including the Texas Family Codes that tells this director by law it is my right to obtain the records of my child. This director was very rude, I told her by rejecting me from getting these records she is violating my statutory rights and her response was she didn’t care that I had my proper documentation and told me to sue them if I need to, stated to me to call the cops and also for me to get a attorney. I did call the cops, and the officer’s told me the director stated to them that my child’s mother had been bad mouthing my name (defamation of character) and the officers let her know that, that was considered hearsay and that it also has nothing to do with my child or the reason I was there. I’m going to be filing a report with the licensing agency against this place as well. Also for the record she wasn’t dressed appropriate to be around anybody’s kids let alone a daycare. I highly suggest not enrolling your child here if you care about your rights as a PERSON, as an American and as a PARENT! I will add a picture of who the director is that committed this crime of violating my rights.

I definitely recommend Kid-N-Play Daycare. The staff is very communicative and accommodating to my child's needs. The center and playground is maintained very well. The director Ms. Monica goes above and beyond to address any concerns immediately, which is greatly appreciated. They are also apart of The Texas Rising Star program, which makes for amazing lesson plans!!! They are also reasonably priced compared to the other centers in the area. I highly recommend bringing your child here.

This daycare is a safe and creative environment that is filled with fun, educational activities that keep the kids engaged and excited to come back each day. I love how they balance playtime with learning, and I’ve seen such positive growth in my child’s social skills, confidence, and curiosity. The staff is very supportive between any conflict or situation that may occur. Highly recommend this daycare for any parents whom are looking to enroll their child in daycare!!!

I have known the owner and director of this childcare center for over 20 years—as a parent whose children were cared for and taught by her , and now as a lifelong friend.
