What Parents Say
Kid Logic Learning LLC receives predominantly positive reviews praising warm, individualized care and strong teacher-child relationships. However, one detailed negative review raises serious concerns about infant room practices, including inadequate supervision, neglect allegations, and staff turnover.
Our family arrived in Vermont in the summer of 2025 as new immigrants, and Kid Logic Learning became one of the very first places that made us feel truly welcomed and at home. From day one, Crystal and her incredible team opened their arms to us with so much warmth, professionalism, and care. My child was placed in one of the most loving and well-run classrooms we could ever hope for. As a 3-year-old moving to a brand-new country, new language, and new culture, the transition could have been overwhelming — but the teachers made it gentle, joyful, and full of trust. He adapted quickly, built beautiful friendships, and most importantly, felt genuinely loved and safe every single day. What makes Kid Logic truly special is the way they see each child as an individual. The educators don’t just supervise — they connect, guide, and nurture. We saw so much growth in our child’s confidence, emotional security, communication, and curiosity in such a short time. Crystal leads with heart and professionalism. Her team is thoughtful, responsive, and deeply committed to both children and families. As parents, we always felt respected, informed, and supported. We are incredibly grateful to Kid Logic for being such a meaningful part of our journey in Vermont. We will always be strong promoters of this school, and we wholeheartedly recommend Kid Logic to any family looking for a warm, high-quality, and loving early childhood community.
Kid Logic was more than a daycare — it was a family and our village. From our very first tour while I was pregnant, they sensed my new-mom nerves and connected me with the infant teacher, who immediately offered resources and reassurance. In every classroom, the teachers and floats treated us like family, and you could feel their love in everything they did. KLL’s approach is whole-person and child-directed, following the children’s interests and emotional needs. Through big and small life transitions, our daughter was always supported and loved. The teachers were there to answer questions and brainstorm ideas tailored to her temperament — from activity transitions, sharing, and preparing for a new little sister to getting ready for a cross-country move. Though the thought of a parent-teacher conference for a baby/toddler seemed silly at first, they became one of my favorite things. The teachers truly see each child for who they are, notice things we don’t always see at home, and meet their individual needs to help them grow. We always went home with suggestions for how to help foster a particular interest or navigate an age-specific challenge in a new way. Crystal also brought in Jeanine Fitzgerald for training, and if you get the opportunity to attend, don’t miss it. Jeanine’s philosophy is the foundation KLL is built on, and it has made a huge difference for our family. Their SEED (emotional development) framework also had tons of great resources. While we are grateful for every teacher and staff member, if you are lucky enough to cross paths with Ms. Jonessa (“Nessa” to the kids), you are truly the luckiest. We recently left Kid Logic due to a cross-country move, and saying goodbye was one of the hardest parts. At our new school, teachers have already commented on our daughter’s ability to speak for herself, ask for help, and express her thoughts and feelings. And I know and probably too often say “That’s thanks to Kid Logic.” Thank you, KLL family — we miss you.
We have had the best experience over the last two years at kid logic. We came from another great daycare, but we definitely feel like we landed in a better place. The directors have been incredibly accommodating and supportive of our family through some tricky times. Our son is super excited to go each day and has adored all of his teachers. He also gets to experience a lot of enrichment activities, like yoga, art, and music. They make healthy, delicious snacks that he loves as well! We love the community they provide and the opportunities for us to get involved. I wish more families there took advantage of that.
Experience with a newborn room was horrible. Teachers sitting around with their own babies they attending to. Parents come from outside with dirty hands & unpack lunch boxes, touch the fridge move other kids bottles around. No quality time. Children are put to sleep awake, with white noise to the max, in separate rooms. Horrible neglect and horrible on the hearing. My infant never went out, “never” was hungry.. or was my infant neglected due to laziness. Lazy teachers, huge turn over. We’re in a much better environment where teachers do the work, organize lunch boxes, hold & love your babies, babies sleep on teachers arms for long periods of time. My child eats! Went from 40% to 80% in growth weeks after switching care. My child has daily curriculum, goes outside EVERY DAY. We get multiple pictures a day of children working on art, motor skills, doing activities. Definitely not a daycare for infant care. I wont forgive myself for thinking that my child wasn’t neglected. If theres an allergy, or anything out of ordinary, they will drop you out of the center. Closures, calling out was legit scam. 3 months in new care, and not ONE call out, not one bad day, not one full bottle sent back. There is 110% better infant care out there! This place is only nice aesthetically. In our case state was involved, state said nothing we went through should have happened, they held many meetings with this center and had interviews with staff to prevent this from happening to another family. I am not saying whole school, all teachers, but I can reassure you, infant care, this was NOT it. There is far, farrr better loving places out there. We are in absolute love with our new daycare family, our baby is getting SO much quality time with teachers. We aren’t any longer just dropping off our baby on the floor and walking away.
If I could give them more stars, I would. There are so many lovely teachers who have made such an impact on our lives. We have loved each and every teacher here. It is clear that they all are focused on ensuring that all children are truly seen and each of their unique needs are met. We are constantly in awe of the activities and well thought out curriculums and all that the teachers do on a day-to-day basis. KLL has created a community that is filled with magic and joy and love.
