Kid City Usa South Daytona

I’ve never wrote a bad review in my life. My son attended this daycare for a few years. Things were fine until he moved into the 3 year old room. I cannot even count how many incident reports I was asked to sign. One day I had to leave work again early because he “ran through a window” I was shown the camera footage and the window was shattered along with my son having a scar on his arm. The daycare asked my son’s father (who is a contractor) to “board up the window” He advised them that the windows are EXTREMELY old and needed to be replaced. They refused to replace it and if you drive by today the window is still boarded up. My son’s father refused to touch it considering it is a HUGE safety issue and completely out of code. The last week of his attendance I was called twice to pick my son up early. I was told he hit his teacher. They suspended him twice in one week. I asked to see the camera footage and the owner refused to show me. The owner has no compassion at all. She expelled my son without warning. She refused to show me any proof of what happened. My son has never hit anyone. He was begging me at one point to not take him anymore. Dropping him off was terrible. He would cry and beg me to not leave him there. The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. There is no reason I was denied to see the camera footage. I’m not writing this to shame the daycare. There are some wonderful employees that work there. I want other moms to know because I was told countless times to switch him from other moms in the area. This location is known for issues. I am beyond grateful he no longer attends ❤️

I actually like this daycare the lady at the front desk is phenomenal, she’s always smiling she greets everyone especially the kids. I had to give 3 stars because one of the teachers with the black hair I think she teaches 3-4 years old. Never smiling never speak to anyone or the kids just looks mean. Definitely not her field and I wouldn’t have her in my environment with that type of personality. Other than that everyone else is amazing. Great school

I am so happy with the care my son received when he was attending this daycare. For me they showed my child the love, and attention I would give him in my care and that is all we can ask for as working parents to take care of our child like their own. Thank you to the team at Kid City South Daytona for all the love you showed my child.

My son attended as an infant from 3 1/2 months to 12 months in 2022. Mrs.Karen was amazing and always so thoughtful with the babies. Mrs. Kassandra was always so nice and respectful. She’s there for any questions and had a good teaching staff that could answer any questions I needed as well.

This is from one mom to the next looking for a daycare. I will say i love miss Melanie she is an angle and my daughter loved her as her one year old classroom teacher. I can’t speak as highly for anyone else in the facility. They are highly unprofessional and have no compassion for children. You have to send you child to daycare knowing you can trust the people watching your child while at work and this is not that place. There is a reason why they have low ratings trust that. There other locations might be run better but not this one.
