We absolutely love Kensington in St Charles, IL. We’ve had two kids go there, and both had (and still have) wonderful experiences with the teachers, the director and all of the staff. Especially want to call out the kindergarten teacher, Mrs. A, she has helped shape both of our boys. Her patience, understanding, gentle guidance, and life lessons are invaluable.
We absolutely positively reccommend Kensington in St Charles to any parent interested in quality care and education for their children. Our daughter has blossomed since attending Kensington in St Charles. We feel Kensington was the best choice for our little girl compared to others that we visited. The staff have been helpful, encouraging, and true delight. We have been pleasantly surprised everyday with the amount of education and activities our daughter is involved in. Constant interaction with teachers and other children. We look forward to our daughters continuing development with Kensington.
The teachers here are amazing. They're fabulous and truly care/love the children. However, the director/assistant director seem very out-of-touch and judgmental. It doesn't seem to have a good working environment for the teachers, which probably contributes to their high turnover rate. That makes me nervous for the kids. I wish they were as valuable as the teachers.
My son is in Kindergarten. He is learning much more than the basics. His class made blankets to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. I love that he is learning to have empathy for others.
