Artman is a wonderful facility. We searched many locations after my 98 year old father broke his hip and it was clear he could not return home. While touring, we watched from afar as one of the nurse's aids lovingly fixed a resident's hair and clothes, unaware that we were watching. That solidified our decision. Throughout my dad's 3 years there, we experienced the compassion of all staff...nurse's aides, activities director, nursing supervisor, marketing staff, dietary, receptionists, clergy, administration, etc. Communication was excellent and there was never a time when phone calls went unanswered. The Pastor was sensitive to the various religious backgrounds of the residents and worked hard to be inclusive to all. Staff seemed to function as a family and many had been there for many years. The Becoming Center, the gym on the premises, was an added bonus, with friendly staff available to help with individualized exercise programs. My dad was a resident until he entered hospice there at the age of 101. They cared compassionately for him with dignity in his same room -- hospice staff and "his familiar nurses" together until the end. We will always be grateful to Artman for the peace of mind they provided in his final years. Call MaryAnn McLaughlin, the marketing director, for a seamless, calm, helpful decision-making and admission process.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know my mom's at Artman for assisted living. She's been there since November. My mom has received excellent care at Artman the place is very clean. The staff is fantastic. I can relax at night knowing that my mom is is safe, and getting excellent care. They have great activities for them to keep them busy. I can't say enough how much I really appreciate the staff. If you have a loved one and you're thinking about putting them to us for assisted living artman's the place.

My mother was admitted into Artman for rehabilitation and then hospice. I must say, during one of the most difficult times in my life, the staff at Artman from the administration, to the nurses helped to make this difficult time endurable. All of the staff handled my mother's admission, to her stay, the her passing with the highest level of professionalism and compassion. The administration was thorough in the admissions process. The nurses cared for my mother with dignity and benevolence. My mother repeatedly expressed how much she loved the facility, and willingly wanted to complete her recovery at Artman during her rehab. Her failing health would lead her back to Artman for hospice, until her passing. I couldn't be happier that I chose Artman over any other hospice facility. My choice helped to make my mother's transition a bit more bearable, since I knew she went in peace and with dignity. I can't say enough good things about Artman and the entire staff. I will say, I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone in the future. Thank you again Artman for being so kind to my mother and my family, during a difficult time!

Artman has to be the best care facility in the area! If you need a care facitily for you or your loved ones, I highly recommend Artman! My mother in law was at Artman for rehabilitation and then for hospice care. The staff, from the administration, to the nurses, even housekeeping, were exceptional! From our initial contact to start the admissions process, to the moment my mother in law was escorted after her passing, every single employee exuded professionalism, care, compassion and empathy, going above and beyond, to make sure the process went smoothly. Everything throughout the rehab and hospice process was thoroughly explained to myself and my husband. Any questions/concerns were immediately addressed, with the utmost professionalism! We left everyday, and were able to sleep peacefully, as we knew our loved one was being well taken care of. In addition, the facility is the most beautiful well kept/maintained facility I’ve ever seen. It has a very homey feeling, with beautiful decor, some private rooms, dining rooms, and activities for the residents. At no point did it feel like we were in a nursing home type setting, and I loved that! We actually had several family members that came to visit my mother in law, seriously joke that if they ever needed to be in a care facility, they want to be placed in Artman! So again, if you or a loved one ever needs a care facility, I would definitely consider Artman as my number one choice!! They are the best!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Artman for the exceptional care they provided to my grandmother during her final days. Upon her initial arrival, she was admitted to the rehabilitation unit, where the staff demonstrated the highest level of attention and compassion. They consistently attended to her needs, ensuring her mouth was cleaned daily, her hair was brushed, her face was refreshed, and she was changed when necessary. Additionally, her meals were carefully prepared, and when I requested protein drinks for her, they were delivered promptly. After a brief departure, my grandmother returned and was transferred to the skilled nursing unit, where she continued to receive outstanding care. Artman offers a clean, safe, and supportive environment that alleviates the burdens often associated with caregiving. It is evident that the staff is dedicated to providing individualized care, as I observed residents being treated with respect and kindness at all times. The facility itself is well-maintained and tranquil, making it a wonderful place for families seeking care for their loved ones. I wholeheartedly recommend Artman and encourage anyone considering long-term care for a family member to trust in the care and attention provided here.
