My husband and I absolutely love University Children's Care! This is my first daycare experience and I am super impressed! My son has been going to UCC since he was 8 months old. He started in the infant classroom and is now in the toddler classroom. Throughout these room changes he has had the GREATEST teachers :) My son adores each teacher which makes drop off so easy. The daycare director, Linzi, and the assistant director, Megan, are super communicative and friendly. I am a big fan of the app they use - I feel connected to my son throughout the day with updates and adorable pictures. Choosing a daycare is a big decision for any parent and I am very happy with UCC. I know my son is safe, in a clean environment and adored.

My daughter attended the daycare for about 10 months, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the wonderful experience we had. Ms. Angie, my daughter’s class teacher, is truly an amazing educator. She always greeted us with warmth and kindness, and she consistently showed genuine care and attention toward my daughter. Thanks to her, I was able to leave my daughter in her care with complete peace of mind. Additionally, Ms. Linzi, the director, provided us with flexible support and sincerity that truly comforted my husband and me during challenging times. All the teachers who interacted with my daughter were remarkable individuals. They always engaged with her warmly and with a smile. It was especially memorable that every staff member knew my daughter’s name, which speaks to the close-knit and welcoming environment of the daycare. We are incredibly grateful as a family for the days spent in such a warm and nurturing atmosphere. Thank very much.

We have had our son enrolled in daycare here for four plus months and have been extremely happy with how it has gone. The staff is very nice, communicates well both in person and via the KinderCare app (which is great and allows us to see pictures and updates throughout the day) and has been very welcoming to us and our son. Our individual teachers in the classroom have gotten to know our son and have been a great part of his growth and maturing. He actually smiles/squeals with joy most days when he recognizes where we are going. Definitely recommend!

THIS IS THE BEST! No need to look elsewhere. Having raised 6 kids and a full-time working mom, I know how hard it is to find excellent childcare. Now as a grandmother, I am thrilled that my daughter and son-in-law found University Chikdren’s Center for my grandson. He started there at 10 weeks and the care, love, commitment and expertise in the infants room has continued through to the Waddlers. The teachers are truly like family. They welcomed me as a grandparent right away. From the time you walk in and Simone and Dominique say good morning to Miss Chloe, Karen and more, my grandson and I have smiles on our faces. The staff also go above and beyond. During an emergency, a teacher went to the apartment to stay with Jack without wasting a minute. Having this kind of support when there is no family around is so important (I do not live in Chicago, but am here a LOT and loving it). It is a loving, caring, engaging learning environment. Children progress at their own pace with no pressure. The classes are clean and have a lot of toys and books. The food provided is fresh, varied and nutritious. A definite A+. No need to look elsewhere!

As a parent, the level of consideration that goes into selecting childcare encompasses a variety of factors— teachers/leadership, sanitation, curriculum, convenience/location, and of course the “human factor” (the personalities and beliefs of those caring for your kiddos). Placing trust in a center to nurture and care for your child isn’t a light decision, and having experienced other daycare centers, I am delighted to say that UCC has been wonderful all around. While there was a waiting list when we first enrolled, I completely understand why that was the case! My child has now been with this center for almost 2yrs, growing and developing alongside all of the friendly faces in each classroom— teachers and children alike. From hitting milestones to developing cognitive, physical and social skills; I see the impact of my child’s time here daily! Throughout every stage, the teachers truly care— from their day to day needs but also their overall health and development. The staff is diligent in providing updates, prompt with communications, and always practice highest levels of sanitation. Located in the heart of Northwestern’s medical campus, this is a wonderful center for employees (with a discounted rate) or for families searching for an amazing center. Last, but certainly not least, this center fosters a sense of community that often is so rare for early education. Thank you to all at UCC!
