Kayfield Academy

We love Kayfield--the teachers, the director, and the curriculum. We have sent two children there (one is there full time and the other goes during the summer). I could go on and on how great Kayfield is, but in short: Every teacher we have had has taken time to know our kids and help them grow. My oldest left Kayfield knowing how to count to 20 in spanish, as well as knows all her colors in spanish. She could also write her name when she was 3! The teachers really work on education and don't just let the kids run wild all day! They have a set daily lesson that incorporates art, singing, reading, and playing! My younger is a little crazier. They have worked with us when he had some slight behavioral issues--the director, teachers, and parents truly work as a team to fix any issues! Every morning they great him with a big smile and hugs when he gets sad that I'm leaving- they even have a special song to help with the drop off! Both my children love going to Kayfield, so I always highly recommend this daycare whenever I hear someone looking! They have a great facility too--outdoor play areas for each class that fits the age of each class! Sending my kids to Kayfield was the best decision; they really are a family and each person who works there deeply cares about the kids!

We have been with Kayfield (six mile) for the past 7 years. My boys have loved it there and have made friends that they still have today. They learn so much from their teachers and they come home with the cutest crafty creations. As a mom I feel 100% my kids are safe and cared for there! Ms. Fran and Ms. Kayla are awesome!

Kayfield has been amazing for our children. Not only have they learned so much, but all of the staff are very personable. They treat my children like family. Ms. Kayla and Ms. Fran at the front desk are also amazing. As a parent you second guess so many of your decisions , but Kayfield is one of the best decisions we have made.

Our son has been a student since 2021 and is currently working towards heading to preschool there. He has truly grown and flourished in his time here. He is continually amazing me in what he has learned at school and the friends he has made along the way. We are so thankful for Kayfield and everything they have done for our family!

My daughter has been going to this location for preschool for about 7 months. We love it here and plan to keep her at Kayfield until she has to enroll for kindergarten. The staff are friendly and always address any concerns I bring up to them. There is an app you can use after enrollment to watch the classroom, which really eased my mind. My daughter is very shy around other children and she has made friends and is starting to come out of her shell a little more. I am constantly amazed at how much she is learning. She seems so happy when I pick her up, and constantly talks about her teachers and friends at home. Ms Fran is a sweetheart and I am so grateful that we decided to try Kayfield for our little one.
