Saw one of the vans dropping off kids speeding through a school zone going 45 a 30. You could see the kids were playing around, not seated while the seatbelt buckles were visible and none were being used. One of the doors for the to kids enter was slightly also a jar. I called the daycare to let them know and was greeted by "just a teacher" that kept questioning me about the driver, my attention was not the driver's, it was the kids! Again, said she was not the manager and when I tried to provide my number so I can get a call back she hung up on me. No accountability whatsoever feel sorry for these kids.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I not only do not recommend this daycare—I strongly urge other parents: take your child and run. This place is not safe. They told children to sit quietly in front of the TV and not ask for anything—or they’d “call the police.” My child was terrified. He was even told not to tell his parents what happened, or he’d “get in trouble.” My son came home crying uncontrollably for days and couldn’t sleep at night because of the fear and emotional distress caused by this daycare. How can you continue working in childcare after doing this to a child? To the parents who still leave positive reviews: please be aware that not everything is as it seems. You might not know what your child has truly experienced. And to the staff: instead of reflecting and improving, you argue back on negative reviews. Maybe because that’s the only skill you have—arguing and trying to convince others. You seriously need to learn how to treat people with respect—especially the children you’re meant to care for.
Miss Yaya and her staff are wonderful. They are very upfront about what my son does during the day, and keeps him clean, learning and happy.
I love Star Kiddos! It’s super convenient for transport from my home to work, but moreover, my children love it there. Everyday they come home with high energy excited to go back the next day. Communication is open and Ms. Yaya is always available to answer an my questions or concerns. I trust them with my children to care for them the way that I would, and that’s what means the most to me. Thank you Star Kiddos for taking great care of my babies.
My daughter has been coming here for a couple months and she loves it. She is always talking about how nice her teacher is. I get many updates on what she is doing throughout the day via photos. Staff is super friendly and nice!
