I emphatically do not recommend enrolling in KKC. We had a very negative experience. I found in-person communication very difficult, as phone messages I left were never returned in a timely manner. I often had to call several times before I was able to speak with a teacher concerning behavior issues. I would definitely recommend asking to see teacher certification. They focus on negative reinforcement and I saw no evidence of any other strategies to help correct misbehavior, except time outs. Take my advice and look for a preschool program elsewhere.
Fantastic childcare at reasonable prices! Both my wife and I work in Columbus and alternative childcare in Columbus is almost double the cost. KKC has knowledgeable staff, and our child loves going to school!
My daughters have been going here most their lives and they love it! My girls are on a great routine, they have learned so much, and they love their teachers. I feel so lucky to have such a great support team with this daycare and I know you will find the same happiness here!
My kids have attended Karen’s Kids Campus for over 3 years. When we started they were 3 1/2 and 18 months old and now they are going into 1st grade and preschool. KKC is like a second home to my kids. The teachers are excellent. They do a great mix of play based learning along with more traditional learning. But most importantly, my kids ENJOY going. In all these years, there has barely been a time when they were sad to go. It’s where their friends are, their teachers, and where they have fun. Holly does a great job as director. She is a great communicator and is always quick to call or text me back if I have a question. She’s somehow managed to keep the daycare running at a high quality even during the pandemic and with so many staff shortages in the area. It can’t be an easy job, but she makes it look easy. I highly recommend Karen’s Kids Campus. We are lucky to have such a nice childcare facility in our small town.
My boys have been attending Karen's Kids Campus since they were 18 months and 6 months. They are now 4 and 3 years old. I completely trust the staff with my boys. The staff is very caring. Holly, Jenny, and Darlene are always there to help answer any questions and concerns I may have. They have gone above and beyond for my boys. My boys love going to "school" and I love hearing all the new things they learn. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews. Holly nor have the other staff ever tell me how to raise my children. They have always been thoughtful and respectful to me. If you are needing excellent childcare, Karen's Kids Campus is an excellent choice.
