My daughter has been going there since just about as soon as she was old enough to join the infants class, right about the peak of COVID. We were fortunate enough to never contract COVID, and while there were a few cases where they reported children that had been exposed, these were generally addressed in an extremely timely fashion. I can't recall additional cases being reported after the initial report, so there were never outbreaks that I can recall. The staff have always been polite, and my daughter has only had good things to say about them. We give a lot of praise to the Alewa staff for the fact that our daughter hit most developmental milestones ahead of the average. They've done a lot to help her grow, and we're very grateful. I find it interesting that all of the bad reviews give no details, so it wouldn't surprise me if those posters just had personal vendettas rather than valid complaints.
My daughter has been going here for 16 months and she absolutely LOVE school! The staff are wonderful with the children. They are welcoming and care a great deal about the kids. My daughter wake everyday eager to go to Alewa Heights Kamaaina Kids Preschool. She is proud of her school. Meals and snacks are provided. I whole heartedly trust this school and the staff with my daughter, which brings peace of mind while we're at work. I'm very Happy with this school. Thanks Alewa Heights Kamaaina Kids Preschool!!!
My son has been going here for over a year. its a great preschool, always has openings 6 weeks -5 years. It is a little out of the way I am ok with that as the staff makes it worth it.
