What Parents Say
Just Children in Bensalem receives consistently high praise from parents across multiple years of enrollment. Parents highlight engaged, caring staff, strong developmental outcomes, and a welcoming community atmosphere. The facility is noted for its cleanliness, spacious environment, outdoor playground, and effective communication system with families.
We’ve been part of this daycare community for over two years, starting when our daughter was just 8 weeks old, and we’ve been very pleased with the care and education she has received. At her two-year checkup, she scored above average on many developmental milestones, especially verbal communication. The teachers are engaged, and our daughter knows all of her classmates by name and looks forward to school every day. When we were searching for a daycare, we toured and interviewed five different facilities in Bensalem and ultimately chose this one for its spacious environment, extensive outdoor playground, and the warmth of the staff and administrators. We sincerely appreciate all of the staff —this daycare is truly a wonderful and valued part of our village.
I’ve been meaning to leave a review of this place for a while so other parents are aware I would give this daycare zero stars if I could. My experience with Just Children was extremely upsetting. Food that I personally packed for my child was withheld by staff (specifically Ms. Chrissy), which is completely unacceptable. There’s also a teacher employed there with a history of poor childcare practices and previous termination from another center, which raises serious concerns about their hiring standards. The directors are unprofessional, dismissive, and catty — they don’t take parents’ concerns seriously and seem more focused on saving face than ensuring the children’s safety and well-being. I pulled my child out because I completely lost trust in their ability to care for them responsibly. Parents, please do your research before choosing this place — I wish I had.
We have been enrolled for 4.5 yrs now ... 2 children later. The employees care about the children and there well being. Very personal and supportive. The teachers are amazing!!
Sent my younger son here from the time he was 12 months to almost 2 years old. He was in the smaller building. The director, Lisa, had no idea who my child was. It really honestly scared me. The director should know who each child is. My son was a late walker, told me he could not move up to the next class until he was fully walking. Couldnt magically snap my fingers for something like this!!! Once he moved up to the 18 month to 2 year old class, there was never a consistent teacher in the room. There was always someone different in there. None of the teachers update the app so you have no idea what your child is actually doing there. You rarely get any photos. They raise prices drastically. Definitely wouldn't recommend this daycare.
Long overdue review and I know how important reviews are when you are searching for a daycare. I cant praise Just Children enough. From the minute I inquired, Lisa & Jamie were responsive & informative answering all my questions and working with my ever changing back to work timing. Ann Marie, who leads the infant room, is the absolute BEST! She made me feel so good about leaving my 6 month old. She was kind, nurturing, communicative and taught my son so much. All of the assistance are great, the price is reasonable and they are always there with my many questions. My son learns so much everyday and is so happy to go to daycare!
