Joyland Preschool

This place has horrible staff. They treat the children unfairly and rudely. They also do not discipline any children here. They definitely discriminate on certain children. I children came here for years and within the last year I have had to complain about other children at the location hitting pinching biting and slapping my kids in private areas , yet the staff here especially Shelia over looks these issues and then decides to pick and choose favorites. This is a very unprofessional location and I highly advise you if you do care about your child’s well being DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. I will be complaining to social services and children’s home society about this location. Very very disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal program! So grateful my family was introduced to this school.

I'm torn about my experience with Ms. Sheila's daycare. On one hand, the staff were absolutely wonderful with my autistic son. They showed genuine care, patience, and understanding, and he loved interacting with them. However, the owner, Ms. Sheila, unfortunately, did not share the same level of commitment to his needs. Despite the staff's best efforts, Ms. Sheila's lack of understanding and support created a disconnect that hindered my son's progress. It's clear that the staff are dedicated professionals, but Ms. Sheila's limitations and inability to work with children with autism held them back. It's unfortunate that her shortcomings overshadowed the great work of her staff. If the daycare were under different ownership or management, I would highly recommend it. As it stands, I would caution other families with special needs children to carefully consider whether this daycare can truly meet their child's needs.

This Child Care facility was instantly Heart warming for me. Not only did I fall in love with the environment but most importantly the staff and teachers. They are all so kind and caring to all of the Children including their parents and family's. I have personally seen them work hard every day to provide the children a safe, nurturing and educational environment. Before I had enrolled my daughter into Joyland, it was so hard for me to leave her with her previous Day Care Providers. She always looked unhappy and would cry as soon as we would even approach the facility or House. Now that she has been attending Joyland she is excited to be there to the point where she says bye to me with a smile. I who have been a mother for the past 6 yrs can personally say that is something so admiring and priceless. If I could add more stars I would but since I cant I will perpetually recommend this Child Care Facility to Everyone who has children. Joyland is the Finest and I sincerely thank the owners and management for establishing such an exceptional facility for our children.

I attended this school when I was little and I thought it would be a great idea to send my two kids for summer school. Everything seemed great in the beginning but the last two days seem to turn sour. My 4-year-old daughter complained she was being isolated. My daughter was ordered to stay in the classroom by herself while the other kids played. The teacher told my daughter it was because her dad brought her in late when in fact he brought her in the same time each day. We confront this issue to the director who brought all the employees in the room. My daughter pointed the individual out and told the story herself. The director completely disregarded everything we said, defending her employees. Furthermore, she accused us of mental child abuse and that we would be reported to social services!! This angered us so much that we called the police. When we told her we were going to call the police she went ahead and did the same thing. Apparently she told the police we had a weapon so we were searched. Sure enough, no weapon. No action was taken and the officer advised us to also make a report to social services. I absolutely cannot believe the lies these people were making! Honestly, they seemed so nice and it seemed like such a great facility but we were fooled! I thought I did my homework and read all the reviews online but I don't think parents understand the extent of this issue. They will fool you and pretend they are so nice. The individual mistreating my daughters seemed extremely nice and I just couldn't believe my ears. My daughters are well-behave, shy, and respectful kids so this came to a surprise. Please do not take your child here. I had to learn the hard way. I have always been protective of my kids and regret taking my kids here. If you want to be accused of mental child abuse and have the cops called then this is the place to go.
