Joy in Learning in Columbia has been caring for our children since 2013. Staff has always been helpful and courteous- and mindful of security. I rarely pick up our son, but one day recently did and the teacher did not recognize me. She told me I had to show her my drivers license before she let me take him to the car. I really appreciated that. They provide good activities and worked with us to help potty train our youngest last year. One more year and our children will have outgrown Joy In Learning, but we will forever be grateful for their care.
I am continuously impressed with the level of care and concern the team there at Joy in Learning Columbia show all of the children. I always feel like they are in good hands, kept entertained, taught to handle problems and how to play well with others.
Teachers always had attitudes and looked too stressed to work. No one had the patience needed for a delayed child. One day i walked in and my son was sleep on the floor at the door.. for some reason they just couldn't control at 2-3 year old.. just a very distasteful experience.
I have 3 kids attending the Columbia location. Great staff and very loving, caring atmosphere. My kids love it there.
