Joseph H Messina Children'S Center

Thank you to all the wonderful teachers here at Joseph Messina. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to the children. Thank you to Mrs. Dalia, Trish, Pam, New teacher (3 year old classroom), Luz, Alina, the Cook, and the Director Nikki. You all have been amazing, and I appreciate every single one of you for caring for my children while I worked. To new children coming to Messina, this is a great daycare center, whom loves the children, and goes above and beyond for them. Thank you for your hard work. There's a few other Teachers I could not remember their name; but I am also thankful for their kindness and work ethics.《3

Ever since the new director came in this daycare went downhill. My question is do you guys conduct background checks with the teachers/caretakers? Also when it comes to payment how come you guys reject children the moment a payment is missed? Another question how come some teachers seem to be unable to care for the children physically? Some teachers seem like they need help physically themselves. Ever since the past director left this daycare feels like a business and not about children being in proper care. It’s very sloppy. It’s very messy. They do not report what children eat or what they have done for the day. No report on how children got hurt unless your child speaks up. No cameras in the facility. Food poisoning has happened as well which makes me question how food is handled here. I do not recommend to bring your child here at all.

Garbage teachers and staff, board members are trash and treat the kids poorly. Cameras should be a must in this facility and parents should be able to tune in whenever they want to see how their kids are being treated, and if the teachers are even watching them as when we were attending, they were always on their cell phones and could not account for where the children were. And I’m pretty sure the lady running this place is on And their sister facilities aren’t too much better. I would avoid the entire corporation if possible.

This center is phenomenal! The teachers are loving the volunteers are SCREENED and very helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about this childcare center and highly recommend them for your childcare needs. They are open from 6:30 am until 11:00 pm and rates are reasonable for paying parents. Mrs. Tammy and Mrs. Yolanda run a tight ship and you can expect that your child will be in the best hands in Lee County!

The Director Tammy is horrible! She shows favoritism with kids if their parents contributes. She talked poorly about other kids with staff, the building isn’t clean, the restrooms were a mess. Her staff is afraid of her. 1 of the teachers that I know of hits the kids. I think the Daycare needs a better Director!! And Child Care of SouthWest FL backs up all the garbage the director does! Like another parent stated, they will kick you out if you complain!! With all of these bad reviews, why is She still the Director?
