If I could give it a zero then I would I've tried calling several times about the christmas bureau and either get hung up on or rude attitude I understand dealing with people suck but if im being respectful shouldn't you have some professional common courtesy if you don't like your job quit and find something your happy doing
Some days it takes a hour in the food pantry but it's hard to complain with so many in need. They deal with so many rude individuals but still see them through. For me it's always good. They put in so much effort. Medicaid Transport and help overall for all. Though... I don't use all services per I only use when in need. Still. Very good and amazing for anyone in need. High praise.
This place has so much good to offer as well...Food...Clothing...Housing...Education...Transportation...Many memories here too...Great Place to work or volunteer... Give back to community!!!
Though jceo is one of few resources in the area like this and does help out, it is not a pleasant experience usually. The person currently working the front desk will audibly sigh and roll her eyes along with it every time the door opens. Doesn't matter the time of day. And isn't pleasant or kind at all. In a situation where someone is already nervous to ask for help this behavior would be the reason they didn't. If you can sit through the front desk and whoever is standing at it gossiping and swearing loudly you may get the application you need from someone a bit more helpful. Once I am past the front of the house the workers assist and are quick yet helpful and kind. Within a year I've been in about 3-5 times for different things, sometimes just to ask a question and this is the exact experience every time.
Love the people here always helps me no matter n never judges when someone is down on there luck either the one volunteer is so great he always remembers me and my kids and make sure to put stuff he knows they love as a treat for them..⁰
