J.F.Kids Port/Bright Horizons Family

I went for a tour and was surprised that there are no cameras in any of the rooms, something that was standard at the other local and less corporate daycare centers. The people that took care of the children seemed quite burnt out. There was a very small baby that was crying and no one picked her up. I hope others have had a better experience.

My kid is participating K pre now. The staffs and teachers here are friendly. They also have a systematic curriculum for the kids to learn STEM. My kid loves to go to school everyday.

There is always a problem when I bring my daughter here. They either don’t have the staff for mornings or afternoons, or want some additional form. It’s stressful for parents and problematic for the kids.

I have been to different daycare centers in Westchester and this was my number 2 center. NOT number 1, but it was a great number 2 choice. The teachers are great, the receptionist is friendly and polite, the management was great but starting last year, I can't even say this is in the top 10. The change? The new director. The teachers and receptionist are still great but unfortunately the management has changed. The operation of the staffing has not been as good as it was. There was a week that you have no idea who the teacher was in the classroom and nobody explains to you what is going on and who is taking care of your child that day. The director never once acknowledged my child like other directors do. She should not be working around kids. She has this look like she is pained to be around kids' noise. It is so sad that TImberridge is going downhill because this was a gem before.

I never worry about my son while he is in school. I can't say enough about the teachers, they really are amazing. And, the facility is beautiful, warm and a pleasure to be in. The education and manners my son has received in such a short time is amazing.
