What Parents Say
Jewish Federation Preschool (Temple Adath Yeshurun) in Manchester receives consistently positive feedback from families. Parents praise the warm, welcoming, and inclusive community atmosphere, along with Rabbi Beth's exceptional ability to connect with children and teach engagingly. The facility is noted for strong religious education programs, well-organized community events, and responsive leadership.
Our family joined several years ago, and our sons have been attending religious school here. We can't say enough good things about Rabbi Beth and all of the teachers and staff at the school. It's a very warm, welcoming environment. The brotherhood and sisterhood organizations do a great job supporting local charities and organizing interesting and fun events for the families and general public. We feel very fortunate to have found this temple. Rabbi Beth has a special ability to connect with kids and teach them in a fun, interesting ways. We always leave her shabbat services thankful that we made the time.
I joined after returning to Manchester from southern California eleven years ago. After reaching out to two different synagogues (both close to my new home) the response I got from TAY was by far the most responsive. My schedule doesn't allow me to attend services very often, but when I do both the congregation and Rabbi Beth are warm and welcoming.
Tell your landscapers thank you for the constant noise early on holidays and after dark
I have been a family member for over 40 years: our children (now in their mid-thirties) were both called to the Torah and confirmed at Temple Adath Yeshurun. After studying Torah with Rabbi Beth and others for six years, I finally decide to formally convert to Judaism, and became a person of the book myself in 2013. It is a warm and welcoming community where differences are embraced and celebrated.
My family and I had been TAY for several years and then subsequently left to join another local temple due to the timing of Hebrew School. We left that temple one year ago- really wasn’t the right fit for us. We came back to TAY in October 2017. I have to say that the warm welcome that we got upon returning was absolutely amazing! It’s like we had never left! So happy to be a part of the TAY family!
