Jewish Community Council Of Greater Coney Island INC.

Reached out to the Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island (JCCGCI) for help with some senior services and Holocaust survivor assistance programs for a family member in the area. Their main office is at 3001 West 37th St in Coney Island, and the staff was compassionate, knowledgeable, and really went the extra mile to explain eligibility and get things moving.

I came to this office for help with apartment searching, but my experience was disappointing. When I explained my current living situation and health concerns, I was met with dismissive and inappropriate comments about my age and housing options. I left feeling ridiculed rather than supported. I hope the office takes steps to treat all clients respectfully and professionally.

I have visited this center twice and both times I have been met with friendly people. It seems to always have something going on from exercise/dance classes to ping pong to art classes. We hosted a seminar on Fall Prevention and the attendees were a wonderful group. So thankful for what this center is doing in the community!

Was recommended by a friend to use them to purchase medical insurance. The lady who was helping me (Veronica) was incredibly rude. She was rude to me and my wife. Then she tells us to call the insurance, jump through hoops just to do what she as an agent is supposed to be. I'm doing all the work and she's getting commission. Find a different person and company to help you with this.

Very honest, decent businessman I came six months later without receipt to redone the windshield. He did not charge me.
