Facility is nice and clean and the staffs are really friendly. I came here mainly to use the pool and am satisfy with it. Plenty of cardio machines although I do wish they had more machines for upper body training. It seems they have more machines for lower body. The only real complain is finding parking can be difficult.
A nice place to hold events like todays for the dragon dance for Lunar New Year on 2-16-25. Parking is free but very hard to find when there’s a big event bc it’s just one lot on the ground street floor so it’s best you find street parking a walk a bit which is not terrible and good exercise. It’s nestled in a residential neighborhood. I love it that this center promotes culture and diversity and learning about each other … and so many non Chinese Americans also attended this event. The Levinson room was packed w people outside the room. Thank you. I don’t have any other experience w this center other than this event so I can’t speak for everything else.
I paid membership, set up the account in person , and even put my credit card on file. My card did not work and I had no access to the gym. The first two times I came in, the guy at the front told me it was likely cause I had just gotten it activated it and to give it a couple days. Finally, the most recent try a week after I activated membership, still wasn’t working. Front desk guy wasn’t very helpful or accommodating, just reciting “You don’t have active membership” to every question I had. Couldn’t hurt to be nicer when this isn’t an issue on your gym’s end. In terms of the actual gym equipment, there’s a good selection for cardio. Limited treadmills, so those are often fully occupied. Some pelotons, which is nice. Main area downstairs has strength machines and weights. There are two other rooms that offer more racks and floor space for mats. Lockers and showers are clean. Pool is well maintained. Definitely feels more like a family friendly workout space.
Great community center! Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Getting to interact with many amazing people here as well! The gym and swimming pool are very well maintained. The Jewish Community Center is also quite accessible for senior citizens and people with special needs.
The older bald man at the front desk has a very bad attitude. He is extremely rude and has no patience at all.
