Was going to see about placing my grandbaby here. After reading these reviews NEVER!!! Hitting the babies is wild, they need to be shut down.

My toddler was only here for a week and I had to take her out! The sassy little chubby guy with the tight shorts was very rude and nasty when meeting him the second day and told me if I don't like something then he suggest I take my child somewhere else! Say less lol.. her teacher and the young lady that got my child in the morning was very sweet other than that no! Why was the doors always unlocked and in the evenings no one was at the front! Also why wasn't the parents allowed to come to their kids classroom 🤔.. it was a lot going on at this school for the 5 days my child was here! A random woman came into the building like she was on drugs and wasn't picking up a child.. the doors still stayed unlock! Just a whole weird experience and never again!!!

Wanted to take the time to leave a review since my 2 yo daughter has been attending here for some time. I am mostly completely satisfied with the care we receive here. To be honest, I'm mostly happy because my daughter is happy here. Compared to the previous caretakers she had, it's the most comfortable I've seen her which eased my worries significantly. The teachers are pretty nice, I've gotten a chance to speak with most of the staff. They have meal calendars in the lobby so you can see what your child is eating while you're away. They do place paper notifications on the lobby desk for any information the parents may need. The only thing I would say that they could improve on is their digital communication with parents on closings and other important events (e.g. during the winter storm there was no way to check on when they'd reopen or any progress). However, I just recently received an invite to a parent portal that they set up, so that's being improved at this time. I'll be moving from the area soon and I just hope that her next daycare is as good as a place for us as this has been. Aside from the technical things, Ms. Jeanette has been very helpful to me and my daughter in many ways, a blessing if you will. She cares for the parents and it shows.

After a co worker informed me her nephew was hurt by another student at this daycare I felt compelled to share my experience. I removed my girls after my oldest (age 7) was written up for defending herself against another student who was punching her. She told the employee Ms Jada who told my daughter to go sit down. The child continued to punch my daughter where she then scratched him on the nose drawing a drop of blood. My daughter did exactly as I instructed. If someone hits you, don't hit back. Inform an adult. If they fail to take action then do what you need to defend yourself. My girls would often complain of an employee Ms Jada who was rude to the children and would curse at the students and call them names and make fun of their names. They also complained of how filthy the daycare was and rarely having toilet paper and the staff sitting them in front of a TV all day while they were on their phones and recording students for tiktok videos which i never consented to. The pros are the daycare is open until 8 for parents who may need to take advantage of the later hours due to work. The daycare involves the students with field trips that are usually never on the planned day you're told but the kids still get to go on field trips. The owner goes out of her way to provide back packs for back to school and Christmas gifts for the kids. The daycare picks up from neighboring schools. I believe the owner has good intentions unfortunately it appears her staff do not share the same values. A red flag is parents not being able to enter the facility passed the front desk due to covid but its 2024 and covid isn't going anywhere and staff are not made to wear a mask. I believe this rule is put in place to keep parents from being exposed to what's really going on in there.

They will not accept your child if they have special needs!! **Story time** I was SO ready to love this place due to the fact of it being open until 8pm, budget friendly and was located right behind my home. Spoke to a Brenda over the phone first and she said to come back on Monday so I could talk to Jeanette herself about accommodations. Mind you this ENTIRE time, I've been transparent about my daughter's autism. Arrived at 8:45 am on Monday and no Jeanette, but I met with a Cherrita/Corrita who was able to take my information and asked for me to come back at 10:00 am to speak and meet with Brenda in person. I informed her that my child is on the spectrum but did not have self injurious behaviors to where she responded "Spectrum of what". First red flag of ignorance. If you work in childcare, you should IMMEDIATELY know what "Being on the spectrum" means. You could also tell that when I said "spectrum" that, she was thinking wheelchair bound or non-verbal. From there, you could tell she was determined to prove that my daughter did not belong there. She started to make discriminatory comments like "We don't know if we have the capacity for that". She even made the comment that "They already had "those children" in the classroom." Very cold, but I kept it light and optimistic. I did not come back at 10:00 am due to me running errands but came back around 4:00 ish which then I was told that Brenda had already left for the day. I brought my daughter (whom I woke up from a nap AND picked her up from another daycare facility) and she was very unregulated upon arrival. Cherrita/ Corrita did not walk up to try to speak with my daughter or say hi or anything, just looked at her like she was a termite as she threw a tantrum. Cherrita/Corrita saw that she was confused, overstimulated and unregulated and immediately let me know that "They can't have that" and that "Jeanette sees this all on camera and won't accept it". I explained if you knew what autism was and what it looked like, then you would know that any new environment will make them act out and that she does NOT act like this with a schedule. I continued to say to her that my daughter understands classroom structure and goes to public pre-k already and was just going to be attending this daycare as a transition until I got off. I also explained that she is already in a room of 9 kids which Cherrita/Corrita cut me off and stated "Yeah, well there's 14 children in the 3 year old, so yeah, not sure she'll do well in there", Like those 5 kids make a difference? You can tell she was ready for us to leave to talk to the other staff about how "bad" my child was. You can also tell she is not friendly, nice nor likes children like that, she is simply there for a check. Not once did she even try to connect with my daughter during the visit, just looked at her like she was a disease. This is not a place where they're going to be sweet and love on your child. It's a center where they yell out the big 3 "Sit down, Stop that, Get back here". Their education to alternative tactics and techniques to get children to cooperate are non-existent, which is why my child isn't welcome, because it would require them to think and put in extra effort. This is a place ran by older Baby Boomers who, you can tell, are "tired of kids" and don't really care about the connection. I got a call from Jeanette the next morning, Tuesday, February 20th where she plainly stated that they didn't have any room for a 3 year old (a lie). The day before, Cheritta/Corrita said that Jeanette would have more "resources" for us to utilize if we weren't chosen, but do you think those "resources" were offered or acknowledged during the call?? Straight rejection due to autism without any "resources" given I am speaking with a lawyer now on discrimination due to all the comments that Cherrita/Corrita stated while I was there that pointed that she wouldn't be accepted due to her special needs. I'll also be reaching out to the local news station to make the Dallas area aware of their discrimination of special needs.
