Leaving a review like this feels long overdue because Jarrett’s Day Care Center has been nothing short of a blessing to my family. I was heartbroken when I had to find a new daycare for my son just after his first birthday. He had been with a trusted home provider since he was 6 weeks old, and the thought of starting over was scary. But from the very first conversation with Mrs. Jarrett, I felt at peace. She invited me to visit anytime—no appointments necessary—and I’ve shown up unannounced on multiple occasions. Every time, I’ve witnessed nothing but grace, patience, and professionalism. The children are happy, clean, well-fed, and deeply cared for. Even when the little ones get fussy (because toddlers are going to toddler!), the teachers handle it with such calm and kindness. My son loves his teachers. I’ve never had to worry about him, and that kind of peace of mind as a working parent is priceless. I understand that others may have different experiences, and I don’t want to diminish anyone’s voice, but that has not been my reality. In nearly a year, I’ve never seen a child mistreated, ignored, or spoken to harshly. Quite the opposite, the staff are thoughtful, structured, nurturing, and genuinely love what they do. Jarrett’s Day Care Center is a place I feel good about every single day. My son is thriving! He’s smart, polite, and joyful. I hope he can stay there as long as possible. If you're looking for a daycare that feels like family and runs with excellence, look no further.
It’s amazing how people in our community have ranted and raved about Jarrett’s daycare for years without telling both the good and the bad. It reminds me of the unspoken generational trauma that has existed in our community for years. It’s true, your babies will come home clean, greased up, and well-taught to their developmental age, including good manners, but it is definitely not worth the concealed and unauthorized use of verbal and physical abuse that they will be exposed too, either by witnessing it or experiencing it themselves. Most parents would not choose to voluntarily subject their kids to this, especially when coming from the people that they are both paying and trusting to care for their kids in their absence. There are other daycares in our area that successfully use structure, redirection, and positive reinforcement to support normal and healthy childhood development, you, nor your child, has to learn the hard way.
This daycare is the absolute best. It prepares your child(ren)to enter preschool. The care workers teach soft skills which is a much needed skill for our kids today. Also, a lot of Jarrett’s kids are either advanced or on par for their grade level. AGAIN, BEST DAYCARE IN MILLEDGEVILLE
