My grandson went here for about 6 months because schools were virtual. They said they would help him get on the computer for his virtual schooling, it did not happen! We were backed into a corner because his mom is a single parent who has to work and he had to start school...we were desperate and took what we could get. The place is dirty, the "teachers" change constantly. Everyone was super nice at first...that wore off quick. There were a couple of really good teachers but they don't end up staying. I wouldn't recommend this center. It is worth the extra money to have your child in a clean environment with consistent caregivers. I remember thinking on our first walkthrough...maybe they are doing the best they can...I was wrong, they could do better they just choose not to. I had to give one star but they are not even worthy of one star! O stars from me.

My son loves Attending James Center! All of the staff are amazing and accommodating! Mr. James the owner is very professional and polite! Mrs Jen and Sam in the office are amazing! Teachers Miss Sarah, Miss Courtney, Mrs.Lisa, Miss Dakotah are very sweet! They are all hard working people! The center stays open even with bad weather! They remained open during COVID and when there was exposure they notified families promptly! My son asks to go on the weekends! His behavior at James Center speaks volumes versus his previous daycare! They have class parties and do arts and crafts. They also do work on preparing them for kindergarten! Long story short i wish my son had started here a long time ago!

My Child has attended daycare here for 2 years since he was in the toddler classroom. The owner is very straightforward and to the point. He greets my child and I every morning at drop off, but is usually a man of few words(my kid can sneak a high five out of him most days🤣). He’s old school- but I appreciate that. All of the teachers are always friendly. My child asks to go to daycare on the weekends sometimes! The teachers all communicate very well of any accomplishments, concerns or questions they have of my child. It’s nice to go into a building and your child is waving and hugging every teacher that walks by.

I will NEVER take my child back to this daycare. My son was stung 6 times by yellow jackets while playing outside on the playground. I was notified by a FACEBOOK MESSAGE and was only told he was stung 4 times. In the message they stated they wanted to let me know in case he was ALLERGIC. This was the first time my son had been stung (he was 3) by anything! I got the Facebook message a few mins later and left my work immediately and took him to the ER. They treated him as if he was allergic because of how many times he was stung. They DID NOT follow proper protocol nor did I sign an incident report which was told to me that it was "taken care of" yet., I did not sign anything. So I told them his last day would be that Friday and was told there is a two week notice. Mr. James was rude when I told them he would not be coming back and asked me where he was going (which is none of his business) I was not taking my child back after that incident because I did not feel he was safe!

So, I have a lot to say but I will do my best to keep it as short as possible. The owner of this establishment is not a nice kind person. He's actually rude and unprofessional. HIS employee notice how I bolded "HIS" anyway calls herself writting an incident report. Okay that is cool. But, when I read this incident report and addressed what happened with my child. My child informs me that is not what happened mommy and i address this with the director and owner. They don't know what to say bc they were not present. Okay so shouldn't I be talking to the one that was present that wrote this report. Okay skipping some details here my daughter also had told me, mommy just have them watch the video they have cameras!!! 😊😊 my baby is so smart to even have said this bc she was right they have cameras all over the place. So, that's what we did. We watched the video. Word for word what my daughter said happened happened. Not one thing on the incident report reflected what the HIS employee had written. Which tells you one thing and it's also what my child informed me of. She was not paying attention. So on top of her not paying attention. She is going to make up the whole story to begin with. 🤔🤔 where they do that at?! So, if there was going to be a report let's make it accurate. The director was just trying to sweep it under the rug and say oh well this is just an f.y.i. Umm no it's not bc this is all a lie and the fact that ur not even welling to even confront her about her lieing untruthful self. Speaks volumes. Well, let's get to the owner he was aggressive. Had the nerve to be in my personal space the way he approached me and the fact that he made it an issue about the fact that I was a concerned parent. And I didn't like how the report was written and is HIS VIDEO showed what truly happened I didn't see the problem. Needless to say my child will not be going to this daycare anymore. And he was not welling to give me my money on my account at that that time. Says he will mail me a check. I don't mail him no check when I pay him. But u know what it's whatever cool that's fine mail me my check. You think when you do he would have signed this check. Ummm no. This man knows what he is doing he must of thought I was going to be tight or be flipping about this check. WRONG I took my time to cash it and when I decided to over a month later and found out he didn't sign it. I knew at this point he is games. I expect nothing less from a man that runs a daycare to play games. I called to have this corrected. 1. They wanted me to come by to get it signed. Umm no 2. They wanted me to mail the check back. Umm no. where they do that at.I I had already signed the back of the check. So they wasn't getting that back. 3. I offered to drop it off at his bank. 4. That wasn't good enough he wanted the check back notice I said he wanted the check. This man that I paid on time and paid him months in advance has the nerve to think I will be running in circles for a mistake he or someone he once again one of HIS employees. Naw he got the wrong one. On top of let me remind you he don't know how to talk to women and that's said to say bc women is what makes his business go round. So i know I said I would try to make this short and believe me I left out details where I really wanted to add in stuff. Lol... So, ppl I did my best to warn be were. This daycare is a no go!!
