A True Gem in Richmond, TX! Enrolling my son Nicholas at Ivy Kids of Lakemont has been one of the best parenting decisions I’ve ever made. He’s currently in the Bridge to Kindergarten class, and the difference we’ve seen in him, intellectually, emotionally, and socially, has been incredible. The environment at Ivy Kids is simply unmatched. The facility is exceptionally clean, well-organized, and always welcoming. There’s ample parking every time we come, which makes pick-up and drop-off smooth and stress-free. From the front desk to the classroom, the staff are polite, warm, and incredibly intentional about caring for each child. What truly sets this place apart is their dedication to teaching. The teachers don’t just “watch” the kids....they actually teach. Nicholas is now confidently recognizing letters, writing, and picking up early foundational skills that have amazed us at home. And beyond academics, the center goes above and beyond with fun, enriching activities like field trips, splash days, gardening, and bike days (Nicholas loves taking his scooter!). Every child gets a matching field trip shirt, which makes the outings feel exciting and well-coordinated. Most importantly, there’s a strong balance of kindness, structure, and nurture in how they interact with the kids. They’re warm and encouraging but also firm when needed....creating a space where kids feel safe, respected, and motivated to grow. Oh, and did I mention? They’re very affordable, especially for the quality of care and education they provide. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be truly seen, supported, and inspired—Ivy Kids of Lakemont is it. I can’t recommend them enough.
Ivy Kids of Lakemont has been a wonderful second home for our 2‑year‑old. The teachers are warm and caring, the center is clean and secure, and the toddler curriculum is fun, hands‑on, and age‑appropriate. Our child is excited to go every morning and is learning new words, songs, and skills all the time. We feel informed, supported, and truly grateful for the love and structure they provide each day.
Happy 20th Birthday to Ivy Kids of Lakemont and wish you more and more successful years ahead. From the moment we had walked in, we felt warm welcomed, supported, and completely at ease leaving our kid in their care. I am living in the area where I have 5-6 child cares on max 10 min drive with 5* rating but I never felt connected to them and decided to go for 20 min drive at this location. I highly recommended this location. This place is NOT commercial. The staff are not only professional and attentive, but also very nurturing and invested in every child’s growth and happiness. Ms Naureen, Ms Shama, Ms Rita, Ms Remi and Ms Mahim are like angle for our little one. Thank you each and every one including their Chef.
I put my baby girl in daycare at 11 months and was very nervous! Mrs Naureen, Shama and the ladies in the front (Kamisha and Caitlin) made me feel reassured with their genuine care and attentiveness when I had questions and a gazillion phone calls. Ms. Jenny, Riffat, Vicky, Deyonce, Hafsa and a couple other names (I cannot recall) took great care of my baby throughout her time in the two infant rooms. Watchmegrow is such a blessing for all parents and I’m thankful they offer it and even upgraded the visual quality. Now I can’t say enough good things about Mrs Naureen but my baby and I love her and are so thankful to her. I had a lot of changes going on during this time personally and she was accommodating with my requests and concerns. I would highly recommend this location! Due to job relocation we will be trying another Ivy Kids because we enjoyed this one so much!
We recently moved to Richmond and we have a toddler and a 1st grader. We looked at ALL daycares in a 10 mile radius, and Ivy kids checked every box. Access to the cameras as many times as I want, good proper meals, beautiful and fully equipped rooms, caring teachers, events and festivals, but most importantly, my kids immediately loved it.
