My husband has been at the Bronx Park Nursing Home since October 2025 last year. At the beginning of his admission we incurred a few discrepancies That were immediately & quickly addressed and taken care of. I want to start giving a review on the physical therapy team they are the best. All of the guys there and ladies are on point very professional, courteous, friendly and accommodating. The front desk receptionist Edna is very sweet and professional as well as Zuley too they are both very nice when you first come in. The Nursing supervisor Josh is amazingly great any issues I’ve address he takes care of them immediately very caring and sympathetic. Ambi the Director in the kitchen he goes above and beyond, making sure that my husband‘s meal is on point I want to give kudos to him and everyone in the kitchen. The social workers Jackie and Rose are also very nice and accommodating. The Aides, Cna, and Nurses on the seventh floor have been also great. Ms.Clayton the nurse is also very nice & And whenever I need to address anything with her, she listens and understands. I just want to say thank you for all the services and assistance that is being provided to my husband. It is very important to me & to him that he’s comfortable thank you Bronx Park Nursing Home and everyone that plays a rolled in my husbands Services.

I visited my grandma on Wednesday and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the new and improved environmental conditions. The unit was clean and pleasant smelling, the staff were friendly and very responsive to my concerns. There was a concert going on and my grandmother was able to attend. The new administration is doing well with their improvement plans. Keep on moving forward, It’s coming along nicely.

I am writing this review to warn other families about the extremely poor level of care my loved one received at this facility. My grandmother was placed here for one year, and during that time her health declined significantly instead of improving. The elderly residents are not properly fed or hydrated. My grandmother suffered severe dehydration and lost a drastic amount of weight while under their care. We repeatedly raised concerns, but nothing meaningful was done. Toward the end, she became unresponsive, extremely drowsy, and was unable to eat or drink for several days. We specifically asked the staff to test her for an infection, as her condition was clearly deteriorating. We were told they would “take care of it,” yet no urgent action was taken. After two days of worsening symptoms and inaction, we had to take matters into our own hands. Only then did the facility finally decide to call an ambulance and send her to the emergency room. When we arrived at the hospital, we were met with over 30 doctors working desperately to save her life. Tragically, it was too late, and she was later pronounced dead. This facility failed to provide basic care, failed to respond to clear medical emergencies, and failed to advocate for a vulnerable elderly patient. No family should have to experience this kind of neglect. I strongly urge anyone considering this place for their loved one to think very carefully and ask hard questions before trusting them with someone’s life.

Serious Concerns About Patient Care and Staff Conduct I am writing this review to document a very concerning experience regarding my father’s care at this facility. Since Sunday, I noticed a significant and alarming change in my father’s condition. He became extremely drowsy, unable to eat, and unable to open his eyes. By Wednesday, there had been no improvement, which raised serious concerns for our family. On January 7, 2026, around 4:57 PM, I called the nursing station on my father’s floor to ask whether any medication or treatment had been administered that could explain his condition. The nurse who answered, identifying herself as Mery B., was extremely unprofessional. She was rude, refused to provide any information, and abruptly hung up the phone on me. As a family member, I have the right to clear communication and transparency regarding my father’s care. This experience was unacceptable and caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I hope management takes this review seriously, addresses staff behavior, and ensures proper communication and patient safety going forward.

A few months ago, my mother, unfortunately, fell and broke her leg. After she had surgery on her leg, my mother was required to undergo treatment at a rehabilitation facility. Mr. Maicel Morkos-Sawris, Isabella's Community Outreach Liaison, contacted me and offered to give me a tour at Isabella. Mr. Morkos-Sawris was very kind and helpful. I was impressed by the facility's location and its many patient oriented activities. The staff were wonderful. They were nice and professional. My mother had her own room with a beautiful view that overlooked the City. The staff often checked on my mother. So, she was not lonely but we visited often. I frequently spoke to Kim Matthews, Isabella's in house Social Worker. Ms. Matthews always had time for me and my questions. Ms. Matthews and her therapists kept me abreast of my mother's progress. Friends and family member also liked the facility because of its convenient location, cleanliness, kind staff. program and staff. My mother liked Isabella too. She is home now and her ability to walk improves daily. My family and I are very grateful to Isabella. It's been an immerse blessing that Isabella was available to help my mother. Thank you.
