Innovation Learning @ Elk Creek

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of reliability and communication at this program. Yesterday, I waited outside the school for 30 minutes with my children and no staff ever showed up. There were no calls, no texts, no emails, nothing. I had to take my kids back home and ended up late to work because of their complete lack of planning. Today, they sent out a notice saying they would open late due to car trouble. So clearly, they can communicate when they choose to. There was no explanation for why parents weren’t given the same courtesy yesterday. I pay for 6:30 am coverage. If a staff member can’t make it, there should be a backup ready to go. Parents shouldn’t be left stranded two days in a row, scrambling to get to work and trying to figure out childcare at the last minute. This has been unprofessional, inconsistent, and unacceptable. I’m now strongly reconsidering using this program at all.

My son is a second grader and has been part of the Innovation Learning before/after school program since kindergarten. Innovation Learning before/after school program is part of our family’s positive support system. He loves all the teachers/staff here. Communication is great. Any questions or concerns I have had, have always been quickly addressed. Everyone has been so kind, caring, and friendly. I love seeing how comfortable and happy he is here. Please continue supporting/helping kids with their homework during after school program. It's so important and greatly appreciated. Patti from customer service is always friendly, extremely helpful, and understanding. She is fantastic and helped me so many times throughout the school years. I needed help to find a summer camp for my son and it was a last-minute request. She did not hesitate to help me right away...she personally contacted the site coordinator the same day to ensure my son’s enrollment could be approved. I greatly appreciate it! Thank you, Patti!!!

Truly truly horrible. I find Innovation Learning to be a borderline scam operation. They don't provide any of the "learning" that they claim. I've asked them first hand to ensure our kids get their homework done, but it was never done, and never any feedback offered as to why. The after school care program at St Mary Basha in Chandler AZ is a high-dollar babysitting operation. There is no "learning" going on. I suspect the person that "babysits", or at least last year, is a teenager herself (I haven't had the displeasure of using them yet this school year). For the top dollar we pay (for 3 kids, previously 4), they need to do far better. To make things worse, they require we have a credit card on file so they can charge their Draconian fees. It's sad we can't opt out of such a horrible operation.

The customer service at Innovation Learning is exceptional. Every time I have called or emailed with a question or issue, it has been promptly answered and resolved. Every person I have interacted with is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond any expectations. Love this group!

Do not have high hopes for this program if it is new to your school. They will drop you in an instant without a warning. Then they will send an email that includes wording such as: “ With the school year well underway, we have realized that a before and afterschool program does not represent a need for your community. Therefore, due to a lack of enrollment, our last day of before and after-school programing will occur …(they will insert the date)”. Our school has HUGE need for a before and after school program. IL is just money hungry and wants to make millions in an instant. For what they preach on their website how much they care about children’s development- they do not. They could care less about human beings- they care about money. They knew they were coming to a small school and made all the promises, and now, they are tying to blame it on our small school community and their interpretation of needs for before and after school program. They have zero remorse and zero accountability for their wrongdoing. The customer service is horrendous too. Zero help from them as well on refunds they owe. The teachers they hire are absolutely amazing, but the corporate office is heartless and does not care about anyone besides themselves. In the end- they do not care about children, schools, families, not faithful and hardworking employees. All that matters to them is money. If it were not true, they would give new schools more than 7 weeks before they drop them because they are not as profitable as they think. True shame on this company.
