Imagine Early Learning Center

My children have been going to Imagine Brooklyn Heights for the past 7 years, and my husband and I trust them impeccably. The teachers are wonderful, particularly in the Otters PreK class where my daughter is now, led by Sharlynn, Nate, and Brianni - all wonderful. The instruction is great, the kids engage in a range of wonderful and imaginative programming, and my children have always been very happy. Teacher Stephanie is a particularly a gem, and Claudia who works in the central office and has been administratively excellent. Jennifer is leading the center well, and we're particularly grateful for some of the teachers who have been committed for years, such as Lisa. We're grateful for you, Imagine!

Both my children have attended Imagine since they were babies and we've been very pleased with our experience. I've been particularly impressed with Jennifer on board as education director. My daughter has been having an absolute blast with all of the enrichment activities (soccer, music, dance, language and others). The teachers are wonderful and caring and really know the children. The level of parent communication is fantastic and there's been a real effort to create a sense of community with the events and activities. It's a great preschool!

I am very impressed by the new director at this school, Jen. She is warm, friendly, helpful and exceptionally communicative. Under her leadership I am confident that both the teachers and the students will thrive. We had two kids at this school and they were very happy there. They were genuinely loved by their teachers, many of whom babysat for us on the side as well. We recently relocated to the suburbs and miss them every day!

Imagine is a fantastic daycare! We have been sending our young child to the school and even as first time parents I feel confident leaving her in the capable and caring hands of the staff at Imagine. They do tons of enriching activities and keep us up to date throughout the day. I have found the new director to be really responsive and kind. The space is in an old church, but the rooms seem pretty well maintained and there is stroller parking, which is a big plus.

I notice that there are a number of negative reviews here, and I feel it's important to provide a more balanced perspective on the school. My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 2 years old, and she absolutely loves it. The school has quite a lot of great teachers that kids love, and I want to highlight the outstanding Dolphin's class (3K) and the exceptional efforts of Ms. Semina and Mr. Justin. They consistently go above and beyond, setting a high standard for care and education. Also, Claudia has been incredibly supportive and helpful right from the start. While the school faced some challenges in the past, they made significant improvements in recent months under the guidance of their new director, Jen, including effective parent communication, a more diverse curriculum, and a broader array of engaging activities like music sessions, soccer, and yoga. If you're seeking a dependable daycare that offers 3K and PreK in the neighborhood, I strongly recommend giving this one a chance. Additionally, the strong sense of community among parents has been incredibly valuable to us. A majority of the families are from our neighborhood, which has enabled us to forge numerous wonderful friendships.
