What Parents Say
IDEAL DAY CARE AND LEARNING CENTER in Dallas receives mixed reviews with significant concerns about infant care safety and supervision. While some parents praise individual staff members and report positive experiences, multiple reviews describe serious issues including understaffing in infant rooms, neglect, health problems, and unprofessional management practices.
STAY AWAY! Don’t take your infant baby here. Went to drop my baby off and there was no one in the room! All the babies were alone. I waited there for several minutes. Not only that, there’s sometimes only 1 worker for all those babies when there should be 2! AND, they gave my baby a horrible rash that had to get treated with antibiotics! They literally neglect those poor babies. Right when they see you get there to pick up your kid they rush to change their diaper. Who knows how long they let them sit in it. Truly sad!
This has been a daunting experience from time to time. On the positive side, there are some great teachers who do really well teaching the children. Some of the teachers do care that the children learn on more than a surface level. On the flip side, there are teachers who are the polar opposite. Their default speaking volume is yelling when talking to the children. I guess it's "tough love," but what child under 5 needs that? I was asked by staff, more than once, if a teacher had hit my child (thump, pinch, etc). My child did not report that to me, however that is alarming that one of the teachers does potentially operate in that manner. Aside from the occasional teacher mishap, the administrative side can be a headache to say the least. The policies are not exactly firm and when it does not fit what the manager/ operator, Ms. Campbell, wants she will change the policy mid conversation. Finances seem to be the point of contention with Ms. Campbell and she will say whatever she needs to say to keep money, even if it is not the legitimate policy. Her excuse for the most recent run in was "well the staff misinformed you and needs retraining." If my child was not set on seeing her friends, she would not have gone back to give their summer program a try. As a parent who is paying out of pocket, the last thing I want is a church affiliated organization that is really out for the money. I know it's a business, but at the least Ms. Campbell should acknowledge her own policies and act accordingly. I sat in her office for several hours of my work day to deal with her dismissive attitude, but I'm sure it was all in the name of Jesus. Also, when I mentioned that the registration fee online was different than what was expected, she then goes in to change that.
Worst place for infants, they hire anybody. Infant lady feed my now 6 month old baby tap water without informing and they kick my baby out once I complained, very unprofessional and they don't care who they hire majority workers that deal with babies are special needs literally.
Please if you care about your child do not leave your child in these people care....They abuse and neglected the children. I PRAY GOD SEE FIT FOR THEM TO BE CLOSED DOWN. Worse experience ever...
Bishop Campbell and his staff were so nice. Thanks for the Blessing
