Absolutely unacceptable experience at San Lucas Episcopal Hospital in Cupey. This facility is in a shocking state of neglect. There was no running water in the rooms — not even for basic hygiene — and absolutely no hot water available. The level of cleanliness was appalling, raising serious concerns about infection control and patient safety. The hospital is clearly understaffed, with far too many patients assigned to too few nurses. This led to long delays, minimal attention, and an overall feeling of being ignored and uncared for. The nurses and staff were overwhelmed and unable to provide even basic care in a timely manner. As for the doctors, their lack of attention and compassion was unacceptable. Patients were left with questions, discomfort, and no guidance. This is not health care — it’s negligence. I will be filing a formal report with the Department of Health. No one should have to endure such poor conditions in a place that is supposed to provide healing and care. It deserves zero stars but Won't post ...so to ne is a zero star

No sense of urgency. There’s only one doctor working for everyone. Be prepared to wait over 6 hours.

The Emergency area waiting room for patients and family has little to no A/C, that is not good healthwise. The Treatment area does have a very good A/C. Because of the little to no A/C in the waiting room, it's very easy to contract any of the illnesses of other patients.

The staff like Dr Marchand and Dr .Acosta gave me an excellent services also the Nursing Staff, the Cafeteria Staff went out the way to please me as l was feeling with a lot of pain and offer me a light snack and did with such kindness that l was very thankful for the service and l can't forget the excellent service l received from the Radiology Staff so much kindness was unbelievable with l appreciated from the bottom of my heart,l congratulate the all hospital staff they all a marvelous professional work blessing to all of them. When it comes to the hospital facilities l felt that l was in a third world hospital the emergency waiting lobby looks so filthy l was afraid of getting a bacteria in my open wound, and walked thru l the different areas l aware of the filth all over,l didn't stand how can keep that hospital open as filthy as it is. I used to worked in that hospital in 1972 and it hasn't changed since then .Once l saw that Hima took over my hope for ever place went higher but l needed medical care again my heart was broken to see all that filth in a place that cleaness should be the first thing in their protocol,as l mentioned before the staff members including the security services were excellent feel sorry for them working in such bad conditions,l worked in different hospitals for nearly 45 years but never under those conditions,my advice close the hospital make a better healthy place .

Do NOT go to this hospital. They are not able to care for life threatening illnesses. Drive another 5 min to another hospital. You will die there.
