My son battled with failure to thrive for the first five months of being with Horizon (we have almost hit our year with them :) ). He couldn't keep food down and was extremely irritable. The owner Shanda and her amazing team took great care of him. He is now off failure to thrive as we have found he is allergic to corn..... corn is in everything! He is now on a strict diet and the team is always on top of it. They are so kind and treat my son like family. They are understanding and great with the kids. I absolutely love this childcare center! That's why it saddens me that their are more negative comments on here than good. When people have a bad experience they are more likely to give a review. There are many moms who take their kids to them that love them. I trust this business and encourages all to visit, and meet the team. They are loving and care so much for the kids.

My daughter started attending this daycare when she was 1 yr old. She has been there for the last 4 yrs and we both love it. They have been a great help with everything from potty training to preparation for kindergarten. My daughter has had great relationships with all of her teachers and everyday when I pick her up she tells me about great things from the day. The staff is very helpful and replies to any questions in a very timely manner. Plus, they have updated the security so you need a code to get in now. I would recommend them to parents in a heartbeat.

If I could do negative ratings I would. My kids went here in 2015 and had so many issues. I had to start telling them to call me for everything that happened, I would never find out about bruises, cuts, bite marks until I picked them up which was ridiculous. I left town only to find out my cousin was taking her kids there. She kept getting calls about her children acting up and when she would ask for videos no one ever had them. Most recently we asked for video of him "kicking the director" and magically no one had it. They give attitude for no reason and expect people to just deal with it. If you can avoid this place please do so.

The ladies at this daycare center not only KNOW my kids very well, they CARE about them! They have watched them grow since they were crawling. And you can tell they enjoy them and share cute things that they do with me daily. They call me immediately anytime one of them even trips or scrapes a knee. I don’t really understand all of the negative reviews below. Maybe they have gotten rid of a bunch of people from the past that were not so good. But all of the ladies I come in contact with every day are amazing! I would recommend horizons to anyone!

please don’t bring your kids here . i took a tour and my son had a meltdown during it and on the way out . and i told the director he has meltdowns and is being evaluated for autism . that they happen sometimes. she acted like it was all good . i have been recently informed by a staff member that the director told her my son was a bad little boy and wouldn’t listen to me . she left that part about his health out apparently. very very wrong of her to do that makes me wonder what she says about other children there behind their backs . my kids will not be going there . i have informed the ccap office about this and i will be letting everyone i can know about this place .
