Kelly, April, Doug, Michelle, and the rest of the team at the Hollins Center are absolutely fantastic. Kelly and April were my caretakers when I myself attended honeytree when I was little at the Salem location. I am 21 now and my two year old and my one year old are both receiving the same great experience that my siblings and I received when we were my daughters' age. They truly go above and beyond the rules and norm and treat every child like their own, giving each child the launching pad they need to really go much further in their childhood development than other child care services I have had experience with. I wouldn't trust my kids lives with anyone else. Keep up the good work guys, and thank you!

My daughter grew up at this daycare for 3 years. Fortunately, they stayed open during the pandemic, and I am sure they had a fair share of staffing issues. However, our problems with Hollins Honeytree began when Ms. Kelly took over management. Even when they were fully staffed, the kids were always watching movies or TV when we picked up our daughter. This went on for a year, and we complained multiple times to Ms. Kelly who told us it was a "treat" for the kids on Fridays and they would stop during the other days. That was ultimately a lie. We picked her up at various times in the day and 100% of the time the TV was showing a movie. A few times I walked in on the teachers telling the kids to stop playing with toys and sit down to watch the movie. Basically you're paying someone to keep your kid quiet in front of a TV all day. I think this daycare has such a high score due to the price and overall the daycare feels safe in the infant and toddler areas. Its hard to find better quality in Roanoke which is why we stayed for so long. Now that Mr Doug is gone, there is no reason to put up with the poor quality that is left over. We have since left the school and are now at a daycare that does not have TVs in the kids' rooms.

Hollins Honeytree is the best with my twins. I remember there was a time where I didn't want to leave them with anybody else but the caretakers treat my daughters like family. I couldn't ask for anything more. As a hard working mom, with 3 children, it is always great when you don't have to worry if your child is getting proper care. I have grown very close with the staff there and our relationship grows greater everyday. I have not one bad thing to say about the care, the quality or the professionalism. It's just like I have left my children with family. Thank you

Our kids have been here for over a year now and we love it. Suzanne is a great director and our kids adore the wonderful teachers there like Mechele, Sierra, and Taylor. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and excellent at communicating updates daily. My wife and I are fortunate to have found a great place to send our kids. They have a program mentioned to us called "We've Got Your Back" that helps us with discounts and specials to local businesses
