I have had the pleasure of having my twin boys enrolled at Home Away From Home Child Development Center since they were infants. From day one, I have been consistently impressed by the care and attention provided by the staff. The teachers and caregivers have created a nurturing and stimulating environment where my children have thrived. They have been incredibly supportive in helping with potty training, providing guidance, and encouraging my boys through every step of the process. This has made what could have been a challenging time much smoother and more manageable. Daily notifications through the Brightwheel app keep me updated on my children’s activities, meals, and even diaper changes. It’s reassuring to know what they are up to throughout the day and to see photos and videos of their interactions and learning experiences. The personal attention and genuine care shown by the entire staff have made a world of difference. My boys have developed socially, emotionally, and intellectually thanks to the rich curriculum and diverse activities provided. It’s clear that the team at Home Away From Home Child Development Center is dedicated to the well-being and development of each child. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my twins. The peace of mind I get from knowing they are in such capable and loving hands is invaluable. I highly recommend Home Away From Home to any parent looking for a reliable, caring, and engaging childcare center.
I just finished a walk-through With Ms. Joy and she was phenomenal. First, I want to thank her for allowing my mom and I to stop by during their staff development training. I heard so many good things about the School in NW, that when I found out they had 24/7 I immediately wanted to stop by. Ms. Joy was very knowledgeable on the process of going to DHS to get a subsidy voucher and what to start working on to get enrolled as quickly as possible. The building looks small on the outside but it's huge on the inside. Its a lot of space, it smells fabulous when once you enter the door. The staff all greeted me with a smile and made my mom and I feel welcome. I was able to briefly speak and meet with my child's future teachers. The teachers explained their curriculum, Food program, potty training assistance, and how to use the parent teacher app (Brightwheel).
I love home away from home. I have two boys in the daycare. My boys are well taken care of during the school day while I work. They are well fed and the teachers make sure their needs are met always. Shout out to Ms. Joy and Ms Spencer and all the staff that make sure the kids at the center are taken care of.
