Finding the right daycare is one of the most important first decisions many parents have to make. There are several area child care center options but don’t get fooled by fancy signs and “Montessori” promises and pricing… From the baby room to the toddler and preschool classrooms, the Home Away From Home teachers and staff truly care about each child. They are patient, nurturing, and attentive, making every child feel safe, valued, and supported. You get very detailed reports of their day and open dialogue and feedback can go back and forth. If you need anything or there’s any issue - they are there to listen and help. You can tell this isn’t just a job for them — they genuinely love what they do and many of the teachers have been there for a long time. We’ve had our kiddos enrolled with HAFH for 5yrs now - not only have they been cared for, but also they have learned so much! They have met all their age appropriate milestones and more - colors, numbers and letter writing and recognition , songs, arts and crafts and more. We’ve been very happy with our time at HAFH- and it feels good when your kiddos literally run into daycare and don’t even look back sometimes LOL! My children have grown, learned, and thrived here, and that peace of mind as a parent is priceless!

We take both of our boys here and have been so pleased. Over a year ago we switched to Home Away from Home from a different chain daycare and have been so much happier here. One of the biggest differences is I can tell how much more attentive the staff are and how much more care my kids receive. The kids love going and they come home clean (no diaper rash or food on their face!). Staff is communicative and I have not seen any turnover. My oldest one has been learning a lot since he started going here as well. I did have to adjust to not having an app to see pics throughout the day but the trade-off has been worth it because of how much I am at ease knowing they are well taken care of. It is more affordable than most places in the area too!

If you’re looking for a daycare that truly becomes family, Home Away From Home Daycare is it. I’ve known the majority of the teachers here for over 10 years, and all three of my children have attended. My oldest started before her first birthday, my middle child (now 7) grew up here, and my youngest (now 3) is currently soaking up all the love and learning. Miss Tami, Jessica, Halina, Jenny, and Dorothy have always treated my kids as if they were their own. From Christmas concerts and Mother’s Day flower planting to learning their ABCs and even helping with potty training, these women do it all with patience, care, and genuine love. I’m so grateful for the safe, nurturing environment they’ve created and the memories they’ve helped build for our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our kids to grow. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My daughter has been attending HAFH for the past 3 years, since she was just 5 months old, and we truly couldn’t be happier. She absolutely loves going every day, and it’s so clear how much the staff genuinely care about her. She even asks to call her teacher when we’re at home—we’ve done it a few times to share exciting milestones, like going on the potty! One of the things that really stands out about HAFH is the consistency. Many of the teachers have been there for 20+ years, which is almost unheard of in the daycare world. That kind of longevity says so much about the environment and the dedication of the staff. It also gives the kids stability and strong, lasting relationships. HAFH may not have all the latest bells and whistles or flashy technology, but what they do have is so much more important—love, patience, and a true sense of community. It’s also significantly more affordable than many of the chain daycares, without sacrificing quality of care. To us, HAFH feels like a second family, and I’m so grateful for the role they’ve played in my daughter’s life. 💛

We were so fortunate to find HAFH when the in-home daycare I was bringing my youngest to closed its doors. HAFH has been a blessing! Not only do they keep my child safe and happy, they also offer an age appropriate curriculum AND help with potty training! She’s learning her alphabet through fun activities and we love going through all the cool little projects she takes home. I highly recommend checking them out!
