Holy Spirit Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch – A Perfect Fall Family Spot! We visited the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch, and it was such a delightful experience! This is one of the most charming and peaceful pumpkin patches we’ve been to — surrounded by tall trees, open green lawns, and beautifully arranged pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. The setup is simple yet picture-perfect. There are tons of photo stations, including cute wooden cutouts for kids, pumpkin-themed backdrops, and cozy fall-themed benches decorated with hay bales, sunflowers, and scarecrows. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed for families to take memorable pictures. The pumpkin variety was impressive — from tiny minis to large carving pumpkins, and even unique green and white ones. Everything was neatly organized, clean, and easy to browse. It’s also great that this event supports the local church community, which adds a nice touch of purpose to the fun. The volunteers were very kind and welcoming, creating a friendly, community feel. It never felt crowded, and parking was easy and close by. I’ve hesitated to write this review but I would be remiss to not do so. Let me start by saying the infant room was amazing, but the twos room and teachers created so much stress for our family we are still impacted by it 6 months later! Our son is now thriving and is ahead in his class, but getting here was hard. The teachers in this room labeled our son as “the bad child” and would not work with him in a professional manor, only degrade him and us instead of trying to help. We had received inconsistent communication around how he would do very well and was a sweet boy to how he was on the border of destructive and “changed the vibe of the class.” We had gone so far to hire a professional to observe him in the classroom and received concerning feedback where we had decided to remove him from the school. There is soooo much more to this story and what my gut tells me, but I just want parents to know to be cautious and aware. Updates: we are so happy to have left this school. Looking back at our experience, the entire scenario with the 2’s room teacher was handled horribly and I should have formally reported it. There were signs of bullying and differential treatment of our son, who had not and still does not showcase any behavior that they were telling us that he was portraying. I believe he was most likely reacting to a bad teacher who was mistreating him.

I used to send my child when he was 2. He always hated to go in the class, I should have known by then. He had an injury on his head, the teacher didn't explain what happened and told me to ask to the front desk. The incident was caused by the teacher but we never heard an apology nor proper explanation. He had a huge bruise on his forehead for weeks. The teacher was simply disrespectful towards students.

Second time here. First was with my boyfriend and his family. A year later second time was for Pastor Jim to marry us. Thank you so much. The worship makes you feel at home. The music just uplifts your soul.

Both of my kids attended HSLCP. The staff is kind and truly cares about their students. Safe and clean environment. The church does many different events throughout the year and welcome the public. Such a sweet preschool
