Beautiful church. Did not have mass going on at the time but just sat in this beautiful church a felt presence of God. So quiet all u could hear is yourself breathing.
Holy Spirit Catholic Church feels like home. I would recommend attending church here for any Catholics in the area or any non-Catholics that want to learn about the faith. The OCIA classes are phenomenal.
Father Deering was very condescending and rude. Offered no words of comfort to a grieving widow.He was more interested in asking if we were from MX or if we were part of the congregation. All my sister wanted was at a catholic funeral at the funeral home, but no! That was too much to ask. The secretary acted like we were not even there. Shameful people there. A baptized child of God should have at least a catholic funeral. He or they should have known that. He just sounded racist, and I believe his secretary knew it. I can't leave zero stars. I hope God forgives you, we have never felt so discriminated against by a man of the cloth.
The priest here has the best homilies and he is so down to earth. Everyone here seems very kindhearted. The daily mass is normally in the side chapel and it is a great way to start the day.
Amazing Church with the Traditional Stained glass windows! :Also have the best parishioners, they truly live life as ALL CATHOLIC'S SHOULD. I'VE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH A GREAT CATHOLIC FAMILY! I'M NOT BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE AT ALL SINCE LAST DECEMBER, AND ALWAYS HAVE A RIDES TO MAKE SUNDAY MORNING MASS, ADORATION, AND 1ST; Thursday Holy Hour! I also have been able to buy groceries, get to pharmacy, and my doctors appointments ll don't like waiting to see my doctors! When I was on crutches someone always fixed my plate,and got my drinks! I also love Fr.Deacy he's a Good Priest! I Can't THANK Everyone enough for all they do for me!
