So nice to see there is still a school operating here. It would be so nice to see the school rebuilt , saving as much of the original structure as possible, and get the students needed to be sustainable. Although the small outside buildings look like they need some repainting and some cleaning up. The Diocese is just a few blocks away. No idea why they won't hire someone to repaint it and clean it up. I'm sure they would get more business. I see the city has been putting money into public schools. I cannot believe what they did to LHS. I wish I could have gotten a brick from the original school. And Alleman added a new building while my daughter was there. It was completed by her 8th grade year. Now they are building what looks like another entrance or a new front entrance on WBayou Pkwy although doesn't seem smart to stop up traffic on a road that already has traffic issues. And Woodvale also is building something on the playground area. Wonder why they are doing this. This kids barely had a place to spend during recesses and lunch as it was. Ok I'm ranting lol. Just nice to see the schools I went to finally getting funding to build new stuff.
