We absolutely love Holy Cross Child Development Center! The teachers and staff are so kind, caring, and patient, and they make every child feel welcome and valued. We also love the center’s old-school charm and traditional style. Our children look forward to going each day and always come home happy and excited to share what they did. The director, Eva, ensures the center is clean, safe, and full of fun, engaging activities that help the kids learn and grow. Communication is fantastic—they always keep us updated and connected. We couldn’t ask for a better place and highly recommend Holy Cross to any family!
Inclusivity is not a thing in childcare these days. Instead of working with families to try to think of innovative ways to provide support for their child, especially a child with the possibility of a delayed development diagnosis, they would rather cut ties. I thought we found our son a temporary safe place to go while we explored additional support systems to help him navigate the world around him. That was what was discussed from day one. Sadly, that was a lie and the moment he was deemed a hazard, they chose to call us to let us go then to get together to develop a plan. This is even after our family supplied them with nontraditional comfort items..books (that they had asked for). It was tedious to give him his favorite book for some reason. I am empathetic towards teachers who truly care about children. Sadly, I believe it was a facade at this center.
We love Holy Cross! Professional and caring staff. My little guy who is now 3.5 has been attending since he was 14 months. I never worry about my son as I know he is in good hands. They also retain their staff so my child is able to form relationships with his teachers. Highly recommend.
Our son Maverick was in the 2’a class and it was a wonderful experience for both him and us. We felt like he was being well cared for and his teacher Ms. Sarah (and other teachers) was great! She consistently reassured us of his safety and adjustment to his new environment. Unfortunately, due to health reasons I had to quit my job and he no longer attends, but I would highly recommend them. Our 7 year old daughter also attended their after school program and loved it. She had a very warm welcome and enjoyed going there, which is not an easy task for our needy one.
