Ms. Ariel, Ms. Tracy, Ms. Syndie and everyone else at holy family child care have been nothing short of excellent caretakers and teachers for our 1 year old girl. They helped her learn to walk, and talk and we couldn't be more proud of our daughter's advanced development. The teachers manage a clean environment encouraging learning and social skills. We are eternally grateful for the hospitality and compassion for the kids. This is without a doubt the best daycare in manayunk/roxborough, maybe even Philadelphia!

I agree with the reviews from 3 weeks ago regarding the staff run by Ms Moore. NOW FIVE STARS to the new director, Ariel has turned things around! We love Ariel, the staff Ms Lala and Ms Kelli. We appreciate their energy, kindness and look forward to the frequent updates on brightwheel with videos, photos and each meal/nap documented. GONE are the days of the dysfunction of the previous director. No more “first come first serve” insanity. No more burnt out and angry staff answering the doors and phone calls. With Ariel you get transparency, (we were able to meet the staff and see the space), teacher get to know you lists, monthly calendar and a sign in sheet. We rode the storm of the previous staff/director and now we look ahead to the future with a great shiny start.

Please do not send your children here until the current director and her family are gone. The most despicable and traumatizing experience I’ve ever had at a childcare center. There are a few staff members (Kathleen especially) who I would trust my child with without blinking an eye. But April Moore only hires her family and friends who have no experience and the moment a parent expresses concern about their child (who is crying and seems terrified to go into the school doors) of being racist and then accuses that parent of ridiculous accusations at home that are absolutely untrue. I am reporting her to the state. She should not be around children.

I am so happy we found a spot at this daycare. They are very communicative and collaborative with parents. Our baby smiles and is excited to see her teachers.

We LOVE this place!!! The preschool teachers are professional but warm and the director is wonderful. She’s on top of everything happening at the center and she’s always available. I DEFINITELY recommend the center for pre-K3 and pre-K4!!! I wish we had found them earlier!!!
