Hollywood Y Early Learning Center

I had left a review before.... it disappeared! Well, I really love this place. This place offers a variety of services. I take advantage of the pilates classes and preschool/summer camp. The pilates instructors are prepared, aswell as engaged and truly care; my 2 y and 4 y are very happy, and love their teachers, and I am confident they are taken care of, respected and learn having fun. They often ask to go to preschool also on the weekends, and they miss their teachers. They just redid the pool, and it is brand new, but I didn't have the chance to use it personally. My children do swim class there during their preschool schedule, and during summer camp. Some things could be improved, the structure is old, the playground is rotten and dangerous in some areas, the gym is old and dusty. It isn't a "fancy place " but still I am grateful we have it in Hollywood, and they offer well needed services for our community Thank you

Devastated and Disappointed: YMCA Hollywood Fails Its Members I am absolutely devastated to learn that YMCA Hollywood has decided to close its steam rooms — a decision that is not only short-sighted but completely out of touch with the needs of its members. Their claim that the steam rooms “are not being used” is utterly false. Anyone who spends any real time at this facility knows the steam rooms are constantly occupied, serving as a vital space for relaxation, recovery, and community — especially for the older generation who rely on it for its many proven health benefits. The YMCA has always promoted itself as an inclusive, wellness-focused organization, but actions like this show just how far they have drifted from that mission. Removing the steam rooms feels like a direct blow to the community they are supposed to serve. Instead of supporting the health and wellness of loyal members — particularly seniors who depend on amenities like these for muscle recovery, respiratory health, and mental well-being — they are stripping away essential services without transparency or real input from the people who matter most: us, the members. It’s a slap in the face to long-time patrons who have supported this location for years. Shame on YMCA Hollywood for prioritizing convenience or cost-cutting over community wellness. Members deserve better — and they deserve to be heard.

Outdoor pool is nice and y membership gets us into all the y’s across the country which is really nice. There’s no towels here though and no adult locker rooms with things like a sauna but great outdoor pool area and that’s really all we wanted to have

I am sharing my positive, real-life results and experiences with Pilates Reformer and Chair Tower Pilates. I feel remarkably rejuvenated and agile these days, moving with the ease and spring of someone much younger than my 78 years. I am truly grateful for this new, unexpected, wonderful and exhilarating feeling of youthfulness. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Pilates instructors, particularly Shylo, at the Taft Street YMCA, for their meticulous attention to detail regarding my form and function of Pilates. I highly recommend trying Pilate Reformer and Chair Tower Pilates for at least a month each. I am confident that you will also notice an improvement in mobility and corresponding feelings of youthfulness. "If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right." Just do it! And do it right!

I love this place plus the equipment is brand new and the staff is great. If you're looking for a gym to work out this is it.
