Campus is really inspirational and a great place to spend your evening and think about anything. Compared to the campuses of other US universities, they definitely need more trees.
Criticized for being a revolving door for graduate degrees with the "Columbia University" name attached, I can see that for many people. There are a lot of good programs, but it is easily to get bogged down as it is a graduate school of education, and not the traditional Ph.D. programs like other universities where doctoral students are fully funded to be full time students and lecturers.
Do not send your kids here. The teachers are inexperienced. The admin staff are arrogant. And they pick on the tiniest things in kid behaviors every single day
this school never picks up the phone. Not sure how it runs but if they don't have someone to pick up the phone how would you know if it's any good.
