Great skiing, a few more modern lifts finally, fast too. The private lessons for kids are great. The instructors really try and have a great positive attitude. Prices are fair compared to skiing/snowboarding prices in other states and areas.

Day pass card printers were so freaking cool, fast and easy. Not much in the smaller terrain park for us less courageous riders. Beautiful place, but not quite sure it lived up to its hype. Had a great time, nonetheless

Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY, is a fantastic spot for skiing with lots of slopes across multiple faces, a 750-foot vertical drop, and 13 lifts offering variety for all levels. My wife and I visited on February 2026, eager to hit the slopes, but an early fall on our first run cut our day short. Exceptional Ski Patrol Response Despite the accident, the ski patrol was incredibly effective, kind, and professional they provided immediate first aid, arranged an ambulance to the hospital, and even followed up with a caring call a week later to check on my recovery. We can’t wait to go back and fully enjoy the many slopes, glades, terrain parks, and the vibrant après-ski scene in Ellicottville with its shops and restaurants.

My son really liked the snow boarding, and the ticket and rental process was very smooth and easy. Lodge area was spacious, but limited comfortable seating (most is round tables with chairs). Docking one star for the traffic and parking situation which was not great.

My daughter and I were here over new years and had so much fun we’re going back for her birthday this weekend. Such a great place beautiful scenery. Just perfect. Definitely arrive early on weekends to get your rentals and lift tickets. It can be very busy.
